Fortnite's Cyberpunk 2077 Crossover Has Finally Been Confirmed

Summary

  • After months of rumours, CD Projekt Red has officially confirmed the Cyberpunk 2077 crossover.
  • Reliable Fortnite insider SpushFNBR has detailed what’s going to be included in it and the price of each item.
  • Spush also claims that the collaboration will drop in a few days on December 23.

A reliable Fortnite insider has suggested that the long-rumoured Cyberpunk 2077 crossover will launch on December 23 and include skins for V and Johnny Silverhand, something that was just backed up by CD Projekt Red.

As you might expect for one of the biggest live-service games on the market, there are always a ton of rumours and leaks regarding content that’s being planned for Fortnite. Heck, we were hearing about Family Guy’s Peter Griffin coming to the game for years before that ever happened and there are several similar examples of that.

We will run out of things to remake, and so we will remake the remakes.

One such example is CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, which has been rumoured to be coming to Fortnite in the form of vehicles for a few months now. Reliable insiders have found files linked to several vehicles from Cyberpunk 2077, but it seems that isn’t the only thing from the game coming to Fortnite.

Fortnite Will Reportedly Get A Lot Of Cyberpunk 2077 Content Next Week

Over on Twitter, reliable Fortnite insider HYPEX shared a report that was made by another reliable leaker, SpushFNBR. According to Spush, Johnny Silverhand and V are both going to be coming to Fortnite with a variety of different accessories and wraps attached to them, such as Silverhand getting a katana and V getting his iconic Mantis Blades.

It’s not clear which version of V we’ll be getting with the Fortnite collaboration, but my bet is that the male and female versions will both be included as style edits, as Female V is shown in key art released by Epic. According to the leak, both V and Silverhand will cost 1,500 V-Bucks, with their Pickaxe and Wrap costing 800 V-Bucks and 500 V-Bucks each respectively. Expect a bundle of all the items together, though.

Spush claimed that the Cyberpunk crossover will be decrypted in around 24 hours and go up for sale on December 23, which means we’ve only got a few days until it’s in the Item Shop. Knowing Epic, that means we can expect a reveal for the crossover to happen at some point in the next 24 hours.
