Fortnite fans have taken to social media to express their excitement over the return of Aerial Assault Trooper and Renegade Raider to the game’s OG Item Shop. Fortnite OG is one of Fortnite‘s newest game modes, and it offers modern players the chance to experience what the battle royale was like when it first released in 2017.

Fortnite OG became an instant success when it launched in early December, with over a million fans flocking to Epic Games’ throwback game mode. While the mode’s initial release proved to be a big hit, many fans have begun to complain about changes being made to the classic experience. Shortly after its release, Epic Games enabled skill-based matchmaking and the use of bots, meaning that lobbies are no longer purely comprised of players. While the decision has made the mode more approachable for some fans, many players think it robs Fortnite OG of its authenticity.
