Nexon has announced the shutdown of its action strategy title, Dynasty Warriors M, on February 20, 2025. Launched just last year, this game based on Koie Temco Games‘ Dynasty Warriors 9 is shutting down after just a year of service.

Dynasty Warriors M is an action strategy title where, you could collect 50 distinct Officers, each with individual tactics, available from five different factions. Moreover, you can explore a stunning map, comprising 13 regions and 500 stages set in the historic Three Kingdoms era. The best part of the game is the ability to relive historic events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
Unfortunately, the team announced via its official forum website and Facebook that the game is terminating services on February 20, 2025, stating, “Despite the continued support, we regretfully announce that Dynasty Warriors M will be ending its service on Feb 20, 2025.”
Players are asked to use their Premium Gold before time runs out as no refunds will be made
Devs have already disabled the in-app purchases in the game, and there is more unfortunate news. While you can still use any remaining purchased or free Gold in the in-game shop or other places, till February 20, 2025, you won’t receive any refunds. Moreover, the Premium Gold will be used first, followed by free Gold, so make sure to use it before the game ends.
Additionally, you can enjoy your last moments with Dynasty Warriors M until the shutdown date, after which all services will be terminated. After that, the game will no longer be available for download or play, which is the normal procedure.
It’s disheartening to see so many end-of-service announcements this year, from both renowned and smaller studios. What’s even sadder is that these games fail to reach even two or three years of service, even after being well received by the community.
