Best PKM Build In Delta Force

Best PKM Build In Delta Force

The PKM is slow and bulky like the rest of the LMGs in Delta Force, but despite that, it is an extremely effective weapon for close-mid-ranged fights. It fires hard-hitting round in a somewhat slow but steady rate of fire, making it incredibly easy to control while still doing a lot of damage.

This machine gun is going to feel very unwieldy at first, but as with the best assault rifles in Delta Force, the PKM becomes extremely deadly when it’s fully kitted out. Here’s one of the best ways to build this weapon for both Warfare and Operations mode.

The PKM’s main drawback is that it kicks very hard when it has no attachments equipped. However, when customized, it becomes much easier to control. With the right attachments, it’ll shake less violently when shooting, and players shouldn’t have to pull down as much to compensate for recoil. The following setup aims to mitigate the PKM’s recoil significantly while making it much more viable in close-quarters or run-and-gun situations.

PKM Extended Magazine (Optional)

This build is best suited for close-range firefights (around 30 meters or less), though you can push its effectiveness all the way to 50 meters with good recoil control and trigger discipline. It’ll work best when clearing small rooms and tight corridors, even more so if equipped with an extended magazine. The setup should make the PKM very forgiving to use, perfect for new Delta Force players.

The attachments above focus on giving the PKM additional Vertical Recoil Control and Firing Stability. The gun does swerve to the left a bit when firing, and unfortunately, equipping Horizontal Recoil Control attachments like the Bastion compensator doesn’t seem to affect it much. It’s much better to just compensate for the slight leftward muzzle climb while mitigating as much vertical recoil as possible.
