How To Play The Celebi ex/Serperior Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket
For this deck, you must always focus on three specific cards, which are the backbone of its strategy:
Dhelmise
This Pokemon has a high HP amount as a Basic, and its attack is nothing out of the ordinary, but it’ll help to endure the first hits against faster decks, benefitting from the Serperior Poke-Power if you get to set it up in the early stages. If you need a bit more time until you can set up the game properly, you can always use Erika to heal half of its HP, and hopefully stall a few turns.
Serperior
The Serperior line should always be set up while you hold the fort with Dhelmise in the early game; you won’t use it to attack as much as you will benefit from its Poke-Power Jungle Totem. This power will duplicate every Grass-type energy attached to your Grass-type Pokemon, which proves extremely useful in most situations, but even more so with the next card.
Celebi ex
Celebi ex is the star of the show. After you set up your Serperior line, this is where the heavy hitting starts; its move Powerful Bloom will flip a coin per energy attached to Celebi, and hit 50 damage points with each heads.
As you might have guessed, this is where Serperior shines because, by duplicating Celebi’s energies, they will add to the number of coins flipped. Just sprinkle a little bit of luck on top, and voila!
