Mobile Legends 128th Hero, Kalea has finally been released on the MLBB Advanced Server with the latest Patch Update. Kalea is a new Support/Fighter role hero with unique skillsets and awesome visuals. With a visually stunning design inspired by aquatic elements and a skillset focused on sustain, crowd control (CC), and mobility, Kalea offers versatility that allows her to adapt to multiple roles in a match. Without further ado, let us check out all one should expect from the upcoming new hero Lukas in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Mobile Legends Kalea: Hero Overview

The new upcoming hero, Kalea is a Support/Fighter role hero with skillsets that make her more viable as a roamer than as an Exp laner. Mastering her Water Zone mechanic is key to unlocking her full potential and dominating the battlefield. We will break down Kalea’s skill set as observed by the Advanced Server.

Abilities

Passive: Surge of Life

After casting a skill, Kalea creates a Water Zone on the ground. When Kalea casts a skill within this zone, she will absorb it to enhance her next three Basic attacks with different effects:

• First Basic Attack: Kalea dashes to the target, dealing Physical damage to enemies hit.
• Second Basic Attack: Kalea unleashes a flurry of attacks, dealing Damage and recovering % HP for herself and nearby allies.
• Third Basic Attack: Kalea uses her tail to strike the area around her target, dealing damage and creating a new Water Zone. Enhanced Basic attacks are not affected by Attack Speed.

First Skill: Wavebreaker

• CD: 4.0s
• AOE Skill
• Kalea slams her fist into the ground, creating a wave that deals Physical damage to nearby enemies.

Second Skill: Tidal Strike

• CD: 13/12.6/12,2/11.8/11.4/11s
• Mobility Skill (CC)
• Kalea charges forward and body slams the first enemy hero she encounters, knocking them airborne for 0.6s while dealing Physical damage to them. If she collides with an obstacle or touches the edge of a Water Zone during her charge, Kalea will leap into the air. Cast the skill again to slam down at the target location, dealing Physical damage and knocking enemies airborne for 0.6s.

Third Skill – Tsunami Slam

• CD: 55s
• Crowd-Control (CC)
• Kalea grabs an enemy hero with her tail and slams them down in the Joystick’s direction, dealing Physical damage to the target and nearby enemies.

Mobile Legends Kalea: Skill Analysis and Hero Overview

Judging from her skills, Kalea is a tough Support hero with an aggressive skillset that helps her focus mainly on knocking enemies airborne and healing surrounding allies. With this knowledge, let’s analyze the new hero Kalea’s skills. Even though Kalea is not a full healer-type support hero, her passive ability still enables her to heal surrounding allies. This is achieved by hitting 2 basic attacks within the Water Zone, which is very important since her abilities are enhanced within the Zone.

Analyzing Kalea’s First skill, we’ll observe that it is a low-cooldown AoE skill that can be used to quickly create a Water Zone for enhanced Basic Attacks, greatly empowering her. This ability will also be very useful for wave clearing and poking enemies during the laning phase.

Analyzing Kalea’s second skill, you will realize that it is her primary mobility tool allowing her to initiate and pick out an enemy target with her knock-airborne crowd-control skill. The double knock-up effect makes this skill incredibly impactful in team fights, disrupting multiple enemies and creating opportunities for follow-up damage.

Lastly, Kalea’s ultimate ability provides excellent single-target control while dealing AoE damage around the enemy hero target. The ability allows Kalea to easily reposition and isolate key enemy threats, such as squishy backline damage dealers or supports. From airborne CC to healing herself and allies, new hero Kalea’s abilities are a force to reckon with on the battlefield.

How could Kalea hold up against the current meta

On analyzing Kalea’s abilities, Kalea’s kit makes her an excellent roaming Support. She can heal allies, disrupt enemies with CC, and create opportunities for ganks using her Tidal Strike and Tsunami Slam. When paired with a Hybrid Support build, Kalea can effectively provide both sustain (healing/shields) and crowd control. This is crucial in the current meta where many team compositions rely on survivability and disruption.

Despite her sustain, Kalea might struggle against high-poke heroes like Pharsa and Yve or burst heroes like Eudora and Gusion. Regardless, she is still a very annoying hero to contend with on the battlefield.

When will Kalea be released in the Mobile Legends Original server
