Intel will debut its latest generation of mobile CPUs under the Core 200H series at CES 2025, scheduled for January, but details about the new lineup have already been revealed, either accidentally or intentionally. Intel’s own support page for core processors shows a comparison chart, which includes the upcoming SKUs, seemingly revealing five CPUs in the Series 2 processor lineup. For now, it is unclear which laptops will make their way to the market with these chips, but Intel is likely to target the budget segment.

Intel Core 200H Series Processor Lineup
As per the comparison chart on Intel’s official support page, there are five CPUs, namely, Core 5 210H, Core 5 220H, Core 7 240H, Core 7 250H, and Core 9 270H. These are part of the Arrow Lake family and are supposed to be the more budget-friendly alternatives to Intel’s Core Ultra CPUs. The Core 200H lineup seems to be the follow-up to the 13th Gen H-series CPUs as the underlying architecture remains the same, the new SKUs come with higher clock speeds enabled by higher-quality silicone.

Coming to core count and clock speeds, the Core 9 270H and Core 7 250H feature six Performance cores (P cores) and eight Efficiency cores (E cores). The Core 9 270H can hit 5.8 GHz at peak right out of the box, while the Core 7 250H can hit 5.4 GHz. The Core 7 240H, on the other hand, is a toned-down version of the 250H with six P cores and four E cores, and a turbo clock speed of 5.2 GHz.

Interestingly, the Core 5 220H has two fewer P cores, but double the E core of the Core 7 240H, giving it a higher total core count. However, it can only boost up to 4.9 GHz, compared to 5.2 GHz on the 240H. At the bottom of the series is the Core 5 210H with four P cores and four E cores, as well as a maximum boost clock speed of 4.8 GHz.
The Core 210H also has the lowest cache of just 12MB, while the 220H gets 18MB. The three others come with 24MB cache, and they also support DDR5 RAM clocked at up to 5600 MT/s. In comparison, the Series 1 chips support DDR5 RAM clocked at up to 5200 MT/s, giving the newer Series 2 a minor boost in performance.

What to Expect from Intel at CES 2025
Intel is expected to launch a bunch of new Series 2 CPUs, including the aforementioned Core 200H series, as well as 200U SKUs, Core Ultra 200U/200H SKUs, and Core Ultra 200HX chips at CES 2025. It should be noted that Intel has not announced anything officially yet, and the expected lineup is based on leaks and rumors.
The Core 200H series of CPUs are budget-friendly options that should be accompanied by laptops powered by them at CES. Pricing and availability are unclear at this point, but starting January 6, we should be getting more information on this lineup.
