Darkest Dungeon, similarly to games such as XCOM, can be incredibly unforgiving, and this only becomes more dour with the oppressive atmosphere. However, fans of Gothic, hand-drawn art-styles, Lovecraftian horror, and roguelike dungeon-crawlers will likely find something to love.
