Since the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) KRAFTON has been fun and engaging exciting content. One of the most engaging additions is the showdown tournaments where famous content creators and esports athletes team up together to put up a show on the battlegrounds. Recently, BGMI has announced a new partnership with the content creators titled Creators Unite. As a part of this partnership, we are all set to witness the Christmas Face-Off tournament in BGMI to celebrate the holidays.
BGMI Christmas Face Off will add a new flavor to battlegrounds
Previously we have seen such creator-pro athlete tournaments. One of these instances is the Great Diwali Battle. Recently, BGMI announced this new tournament on their social media handles where they announced the names and the captains of these teams. This tournament is set to take place on 20th and 21st December.
For the first time, this tournament will be played on the World of Wonder (WoW) mode maps created by other renowned creators and players. Apart from WoW mode, we will also see matches in the Payload mode, Arena mode, and other interactive modes. You should keep one thing in mind it is a fun tournament and it will not have any serious battle royale match on the usual maps like Erangel and Miramar. However, all the Payload mode matches will be played on a different Erangel map.
Top creators are going head-to-head to get the ultimate glory
In the same social media post, BGMI has announced all the team captains along with the team names. Let’s look at those teams and their leaders:

It is quite a commendable feat from BGMI to bring all the big creators and esports athletes of the community into the same tournament. This will excite many fans and attract new audiences which will help them in the long term.
