In Chapter 6 Season 1 of Fortnite all the new characters have hit the ground running. They’re also sliding, jumping, and rolling, but most importantly, they are moving. There’s a giant map to cover, and there is limited time to traverse it, so it’s important to be strategic in how you travel.

Fortnite: Chapter 6, Season 1 – All Earth Sprite Locations And What They Do
Here’s where to find every Earth Sprite in Fortnite: Chapter 6, Season 1!
In this new iteration of Fortnite, players are given parkour style movements, as well as Sprites, which help in different ways. The game has moved up a notch or two on the speed scale, and as a result, we are checking out the best new ways to travel in Chapter 6 Season 1.
8 Motorcycles
Starting off our list, we have two motorcycles, perfect for navigating the narrow streets and expansive terrain. The first is the dirt bike, which has been in previous Chapters, but not the most recent season. It moves and accelerates easily, and you can shoot while driving it. It’s also easy to find, making this really accessible.
The other motorcycle, Rogue Bike motorcycle, is a bit heavier, but it’s also fast. The Rogue Bike motorcycle gives you a little bit more protection and speed than the dirt bike, but turns are definitely harder. Like the dirt bike, you can shoot while driving it, and neither are that hard to find on the map, so both are great ways to traverse the new areas.
7 Trains
The trains have been upgraded to fit the new season’s aesthetic, and they can and should be used. Like last season, you can still do a train heist, allowing you to get more items while traveling.
Since the new season has a lot of new places to visit and more locations added, the train is a good way to travel because you can also bring your team with you. You’ll obviously have to be careful because the train’s location is always on display on the map, however, the train stops make for great places to find supplies and regroup for the rest of the match.
6 Air Sprites
Fortnite has incorporated wind-based movement before, but in Chapter 6 there is the addition of Air Sprites, which will help you. If you take one of these Sprites to any of the Sprite Shrines, you can unlock power ups and bonuses. If you don’t see any Air Sprites to pick up, you can reveal their location by stopping at one of the Shrines.

The Air Sprite, if thrown, acts as a gust of air launching you up, allowing you to travel quickly and get higher ground. If you bring the Air Sprite to the Sprite Shrine, it gives you a speed boost while your pickaxe is equipped, making you much faster. This power up is referred to as Wind Boon, and it makes a big difference in moving across the map.
5 Water Sprites
The Water Sprite is the second carry-able sprite which allows you to heal if thrown down. It can be used three times, and it can be a quick way to recover health and shield.
If you take it to one of the Sprite Shrines, it gives you a recovery boost for the duration of the game, which is why it ranks high on our list. Once you are swimming or floating in water, you recover health and shield. This is a game changer because there is a lot of water. It will allow you to travel lighter and simpler, carrying less items, knowing you can recover health/shield in any body of water while you are traveling, saving you time.
4 Parkour
The addition of Parkour to this season adds elements to Fortnite that we’ve never seen before, and the new moves all make travel much easier and more dynamic. Ledge Jumps propel you further and higher, allowing you to gain time in the air and confuse opponents while Wall Kicks propel you diagonally, or in the direction you push off of the wall from. Wall Scrambles allow you to scale tall walls rapidly and Roll Landings not only help with dodging bullets, but they also slightly soften the blow from falling.
Fortnite is always trying to find ways to raise the excitement and speed up the tempo, and these four parkour-like moves do just that. They are big boosts to the way you can move and interact with the world, and they are a blast to perform as you navigate the new world.
3 Typhoon Blade
The Typhoon Blade in this season of Fortnite is comparable to Shuri’s Black Panther Claws from last season in that it lets you move much faster, and you take no damage when landing. Unlike Shuri’s Claws however, the Typhoon Blade only has so much charge before it breaks, and then you’re back to your other weapons. It starts out at 100 percent but by running and by using it in general, it starts to go down, and there is no way to repair it.

Fortnite Ballistic: All Weapons And Gadgets, Explained
The new first-person shooter mode in Fortnite lets you buy weapons, so you’ll need to know all weapons and gadgets in Fortnite Ballistic.
It delivers powerful hits against your opponents with either the regular attacks or the Cyclone Slash, and it lets you travel a lot further. It boosts your running speed, and when you jump off the ground, it boosts your height, allowing for a second, forward propelling move as well. The Typhoon Blade can be a real game changer, and if you equip it, it makes for one of the best ways to travel in this new season.
2 Void Oni Mask
The Void Oni Mask and Void Tears are new in this season, and are very easy to use and can have a huge impact on travel. You don the Mask then throw one of these Tears in the direction of where you want to travel, and then you teleport there.
They are somewhat difficult to find, but not impossible. Whether you are running from an opponent – trying to heal, or running towards an opponent – in a sneak attack fashion, these new additions drastically change game play. The two things to note about these are that you want to avoid transporting yourself into a wall or obstacle, and once you do teleport you’ll have to wait a few seconds before you teleport again. Once these are mastered, however, they will raise your standings quickly.
1 Shogun X Medallion
Attainable only after defeating Shogun X, the Shogun X Medallion is pretty unbeatable. You gain infinite stamina, and while you are sprinting, you become invisible, making you as spooky as most of the demon bosses in this season.
If you are skilled enough to defeat Shogun X, you will get an upgrade to the Typhoon Blade which also increases how fast you can go and how far you can jump. All in all, defeating Shogun X and unlocking the Medallion will give you the best chance to win, and the best way to travel in Chapter 6 Season 1.
