MLBB finally arrives in China, promising to deliver the ultimate MOBA experience
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is one of the most popular MOBA games right now on mobile platforms. It has won various awards and was nominated for the Best Esports Game by The Game Awards 2024 for the very first time, competing against other big nominees like Counter-Strike 2, DOTA 2, League of Legends, and Valorant.
This powerhouse title is finally set to launch in China next year and promises to provide the same thrilling and fan-favorite Mobile Legends experience to Chinese players. This highly anticipated 5v5 competitive MOBA title is scheduled to launch in January 2025, although the exact date is yet to be determined and announced.
The game recently concluded its limited deletion test on December 18, 2024. As of now, you can reserve the game on Haoyou Kuaibao, where the game has already reached 109,000 reservations and secured the #4 spot on the new games anticipation list.
I wish I were from China too, because the devs announced some amazing benefits for the Chinese players. In the first season, all heroes and skins will be free, and you can permanently obtain them either directly or through events and other methods.
Additionally, in the Chinese version, the MVP of the losing team won’t lose a star in ranked matches, while the MVP of the winning team will jump stars and even stages. I hope they implement the same on the global version.
And if you don’t know yet, MLBB is also adding China to its Esports system. The Chinese esports scene will have two qualifying events, similar to the MPL tournaments, and the winning team will earn a spot to participate in the MSC and the M7 World Championship.
