Where to Find the Guard House Key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle



Indiana Jones and the Great Circle brings all the cinematic joy of the film franchise to consoles and PC. Players can expect all the white-knuckle action present in the movies, along with globetrotting in pursuit of ancient artifacts. Indy has to set off for the Vatican after a mysterious figure has stolen a statue from his college’s museum collection. You’ll have to get through Castel Sant’Angelo first. The castel and the Vatican have been taken over by fascist black shirts.




This beginning area acts as a tutorial for how weapons and puzzles will behave in the game. You can sneak through the castel or face your foes head on. Either way, you may stumble onto the locked Guard House door while making your way through the castel. Guard House Location

The Guard House can be found in the southeastern corner of Castel Sant’Angelo. Look for it at the black and white arrow on the map above. You can find the Castel Sant’Angelo Map on the right before you enter the small chapel.

Once you exit the chapel, Indy needs to ascend the center of the castel to reach the Vatican. There are two stationary blackshirts and one patrolling up and down the corridor. Take them out and proceed. The Guard House is on the left side of the path. There is a blackshirt resting against the building while another will walk a small path in front of him.

Walk to the intricate door, and you’ll see that Indy needs the Guard House Key to open it.

Guard House Key Location

Thankfully, the key is nearby. Handle the blackshirt that’s resting against the wall by sneaking into the small area behind him. Take him out when the other guard enters the door on the left ahead. You can then sneak into the small office ahead and stealthily take him down when he’s staring at the wall. Look where the blackshirt was staring, and you’ll find the key hanging on the wall.


Return to the door with the Guard House Key and turn it to gain access to this area. You can go upstairs and use the guard house as a shortcut by unlocking another door to exit. The Guard House has a single blackshirt along with some revolver bullets you can loot off a desk.
