If this is the case, Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl are likely just the tip of the iceberg, with plenty more Chinese New Year-themed skins set to arrive soon. Players can unlock skins in different ways in Marvel Rivals, with the game featuring a battle pass as well as an in-game storefront. Players can earn credits to spend on the game’s premium battle pass but can also spend real money to get Lattice, one of Marvel Rivals‘ many currencies, to purchase cosmetics as well.
As stated earlier, Marvel Rivals will soon be entering its first official season of content, which is expected to launch sometime in January. Players can enjoy Season 0 now, as well as Marvel Rivals‘ upcoming winter event, which is all about Jeff the Land Shark. Dubbed Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival, this new festive event will give players a lot to enjoy and explore ahead of Christmas. The event begins on December 20 and lasts through January 9, likely making way for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals to roll out at a later date.
