Tencent Games has announced the invite-only testing phase for their open-world survival title, Light Of Motiram, for mobile and PC in China. Developed by Polaris Quest, the game was initially announced on November 30, 2024, and is scheduled to launch on Android, iOS, PC, and PS5 platforms.
Light Of Motiram brings open world exploration inspired by similarly themed titles
For those new or unaware of the game, Light Of Motiram is an open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by massive machines and untamed wilderness.
In this game, you can explore diverse landscapes, including lush tropical rainforests, barren deserts, and snow-capped mountain peaks. Along the way, you will meet unique Mechanimals, discover mysterious ruins, and ultimately uncover the secrets of MOTIRAM.
I am a fan of the Horizon series, especially Horizon Zero Dawn, and this game shares various similarities with that game, even the main character. This makes me very curious to try out Light of Motiram when it launches. It also draws inspiration from Palword, but what excites me more is the opportunity to tame and train over 100 unique Mechanimals that the game features.
The devs have launched the invite-only Supernova Test, and if you qualified for the test, you can check their download guide for the test. And if you applied for the recruitment, you will receive a permanent limited title after the public beta, even if you are not qualified for this test.
