How to Get the Jet Gun in Liberty Falls

How to Get the Jet Gun in Liberty Falls

Liberty Falls in Black Ops 6 features an exclusive Wonder Weapon for the map, allowing players to collect the Jet Gun from Black Ops 2‘s Tranzit, except this time, it’s actually a powerhouse worth crafting. To get the Jet Gun in Black Ops 6, players will first need to find its three components in order to build it and be rewarded with a powerful piece of weaponry in the Thrustodyne M23 for BO6.

Liberty Falls has plenty of wall-buys for those Black Ops 6 players who are grinding camos, weapon XP, or just need a fresh gun to kill zombies.

Upon entering Liberty Falls, players will need to navigate through the map to find three specific parts that are always located in the same area each match, so look here to find the Thrustodyne M23 Jet Gun in Black Ops 6‘s Liberty Falls map so that you can craft it every game with ease.

Step 1: Get the Water Pressure Gauge

To start, players are going to want to head to Washington Avenue, which is found on the right side of the map from the Motor Lodge motel’s spawn area, or through the Savings & Loans Bank. Inside Washington Avenue, the shop to the right of Speed Cola, Lily’s Flowerpot, will have a Water Valve that can be collected just to the right of the front door covered in blood. Simply pick it up by approaching the hose tap and pressing the interact button.

With the Water Valve acquired, players need to head to the bowling alley of Fuller’s Liberty Lanes, where inside on the lanes themselves at the west wall, there will be a box that players can shoot or melee to break open. With this box opened, players now have the option to place the Water Valve. However, it’s worth mentioning that doing so will spawn purple-eyed zombies and vermin, so it’s best to do this in the early rounds so that these zombies are weak.

All players need to do is hold the interact button at the Water Valve to increase the Water Pressure bar on the top left. This will take around 40 seconds in total, and players will need to stay in Fuller’s Liberty Lanes in order to save progress, as exiting the area will restart the meter. The easiest strategy to distract the zombies and hold the interact button at the Water Valve is to use Monkey Bombs, and Decoys, or simply kill all the zombies and raise the Water Pressure between rounds. Upon completion, a blinding white light will burn any remaining zombies, and the Water Pressure Gauge can be picked up from the floor.

Steps 1, 2, and 3 can be completed in any order, but they have been numbered this way based on convenience.

Step 2: Obtain the Handbrake

Once players have opened enough doors to get to the Church, they will want to head right and enter the Cemetery. From within the Cemetery, players are looking for a specific zombie to spawn: The Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper is a random spawn, so players will just have to wait around the Cemetery and watch for him. He is noted by his unique health bar name, overalls, and the fact that he will try to run away. Failing to kill him results in him teleporting away, but players will just have to wait for him to re-appear next round. Once he spawns, kill him fast and collect the Toolshed Key he drops.

With the Toolshed Key, head into the Groundskeeper’s Yard area, which is found down Hilltop and Washington Avenue. Within the Groundskeeper’s Yard, interact with the small shed when facing north, just next to the Crafting Table. Doing so with the Toolshed Key will open the door, and players can collect the Handbrake, their second part for the Jet Gun Wonder Weapon.

Step 3: Acquire the Electrical Wires

Players are now going to have to wait until a Mangler spawns on the map, which usually occurs on Round 11. Manglers are a Special Zombie enemy, and with one in the Round, players must destroy the Mangler’s arm cannon by repeatedly shooting it before they kill him, as doing so will drop the Mangler Cannon scorestreak that is needed to acquire the Electrical Wires. Alternatively, players can purchase the Mangler Cannon at the Crafting Table once they reach Level 20 and spend 1,250 Salvage.

With the Mangler Cannon acquired, head to Riverside where opposite Olly’s Comics in the the Radio House Electronics Superstore. Players will need to hit Down on the D-Pad to activate the Mangler Cannon, and then press the fire button on the locked entrance gate. Doing so will allow players to access Radio House, where they can then interact with the piles of wires and electronics on the floor. Some will contain salvage or vermin, but players will need to keep interacting with the piles until the Electrical Wires part drops so that they can pick it up.

Step 4: Assemble the Thrustodyne Model 23

Now that players have all 3 parts to the Jet Gun, it’s time to head to the second floor of the Motor Lodge motel, where players can head past room 203 to 202. Be warned, as soon as players head to this door, a surge of zombies will burst free, so just be ready to pop some rotting heads. Inside Room 202, players can find a crafting bench where they will be prompted to craft the Thrustodyne Model 23.

Doing so only takes a few seconds, but considering this room is extremely closed off and is a dead end, it’s advised that players build the Wonder Weapon at the end of the round or when the horde is distracted. Once assembled, players can equip the Jet Gun in any of their two weapon slots.

Is the Thrustodyne M23 Worth It?

using the thrustodyne m23

The Thrustodyne M23 is definitely worth obtaining in Liberty Falls, as it’s far superior to its original creation back in Black Ops 2. The Jet Gun has notable improvements, and is essential for completing the Liberty Falls Main Quest. However, it’s not just great for how it helps with easter eggs, as the Thrustodyne M23 can instantly kill zombies on every round thanks to its powerful jet turbine that will see zombies sucked up and blended within the large weapon. The Thrustodyne M23 isn’t great against Manglers and Abominations, but its 100% charge makes it an efficient weapon for standard zombies.

Players should also be aware that it will recharge its ammo after a certain amount of time, and if players hit L2 or let the Jet Gun deplete its ammo, it will release a Napalm Burst that will kill and stun zombies that might have the player trapped, but doing so will force players to wait around 30 to 40 seconds for their ammo to return.

Players can also obtain the Thrustodyne M23 through the Mystery Box and with the Wonderbar! Ultra GobbleGum.
