Heading to the hidden Janus facility of Terminus Island in Black Ops 6 is going to be met with all sorts of horrific undead experiments, but to aid in the never-ending fight, players can get their hands on the DRI-11 Beamsmasher, the ultimate map-specific Wonder Weapon for Terminus that will melt through hordes of zombies like butter.

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Terminus Main Quest Guide
Players must fight the undead horrors and experiments that are stopping their escape from Terminus Island in this Black Ops 6 Zombies main quest!
The DR11 Beam Smasher in BO6 is an essential piece of weaponry that will truly allow players to excel as they strive for high rounds against Manglers, Amalgams, and the hordes of zombies. There are quite a few steps to obtain the Beamsmasher in Black Ops 6, but they are easy to follow below.
Step 1: Turn on the Power With the AMP Generators
In order to activate the quest to acquire the DRI-11 Beamsmasher, players must first restore power to Terminus Island by activating the AMP Generators. There are three AMP Generators on the map, and each of them can be activated for 500 Essence (Players will receive 500 Essence for each completed AMP Generator). Purple-eyed zombies will spawn to attack the AMP Generator, so be sure to defend them at each location:
- Inside the Guard Station (by spawn)
- Inside the Living Quarters (by Jugger-Nog)
- Inside the Bio Lab (by the cylinder in the center)
Once all three AMP Generators have been brought online, jump into the water to raise the incline lift and bring Pack-a-Punch online.
Step 2: Activate the Three Computer Terminals
There are three computer terminals that can be found across Terminus, and each of them will need to be activated by the interact button. Players do not need to memorize the symbols that appear just yet; they should be aware that they will be different for each game, but their spawns will not. Here’s where to find all three laptops in Terminus:
- Outside the Guard Station by the railing to Communications.
- Outside the Interrogation Room, in the Storage Area, by railings and a barbed gate.
- By the railings that lead to the Docks, found by following the stairs from the Sea Tower.
Step 3: Acquire the EMF Fob
Now that Pack-a-Punch is active and power is restored to the island, players will need to acquire the Dead Wire Ammo Mod on any weapon for 500 Salvage at The Armory station. It’s advised to grab Dead Wire on a rapid-fire weapon, as players are going to need to shoot at still targets.
With Dead Wire acquired, head to the incline lift in the Bio Lab and purchase the trip upwards for 500 Essence. Players now need to shoot 5 electric boxes with their weapon that has Dead Wire, and the video below details the location of all 5:
- Face north on the Inclined Lift, in the room through the shattered glass.
- Immediately to the right of the first electric box on the wall.
- Immediately to the right of the second electric box, against the Living Quarters wall.
- Inside the Living Quarters, above the AMP Generator.
- On the Living Quarters’ outer wall, to the right of a blue barrel by the entrance.
Upon shooting all 5 in order with Dead Wire, the doors to the Research Office will open, and inside, crushed under a cabinet, will be a zombie that players can kill to acquire the EMF Fob.
Step 4: Obtain the Multiphasic Resonator
With the EMF Fob acquired and all three laptops activated on Terminus, players can now head into the Sea Tower. From within the Sea Tower, there will be a desk with a briefcase with a hand attached to it, found just to the right of Elemental Pop. Players can interact with the briefcase to open it and grab the Multiphasic Resonator, but be warned, quite a few Vermin will spawn, so kill them and enjoy the easy Essence, and then take the Multiphasic Resonator back to the Research Office.
Step 5: Solve the DRI-11 Beamsmasher Puzzle
With the EMF Fob and the Multiphasic Resonator, players can look to the computer terminal in the Research Office and interact with it twice to place the Multiphasic Resonator and 3 sticky notes with unique symbols corresponding with X, Y, and Z. Players now have to find the three correct codes to activate the Beamsmasher puzzle, and there are two ways to do this.
Firstly, players can head to the Guard Station at spawn and bribe Peck for the answers for 5,000 Essence. While this might seem like a lot, players can actually get a refund from Peck if they acquire a fish and cook it for him in the Mess Hall.

Dr. Peck has one weakness in Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Terminus map, and that’s a decent piece of fried fish that will see a return of 5,000 Essence.
Secondly, players can solve the puzzle themselves by looking at the whiteboards that show which numbers correspond with the symbols for X, Y, and Z, and then solving the algebra associated with each question on the other whiteboard. Here’s a detailed explanation of how to solve the DRI-11 Beamsmasher puzzle:

Black Ops 6 Zombies: How to Solve Terminus’ Math Puzzle
Black Ops 6 Zombies requires players to remember math class and algebra if they want to acquire the free DRI-11 Beamsmasher on Terminus.
Players will know if they have entered the right code as there will be a comment from Peck or Strauss, and now all players need to do is progress to the next round, which will allow them to collect the Multiphasic Resonator and locate a new island on the terminal screen.
Step 6: Get the AMP Munition by Charging the Multiphasic Resonator
With the Multiphasic Resonator back in your inventory from the terminal, it’s time to head to the Docks and take a Tactical Raft out to sea. Players will need to travel to the East Island, Castle Rock Island, where a glowing blue orb will be on the shore. Players can interact with the blue orb with their Multiphasic Resonator, which will begin spawning zombies infinitely. The objective here is to watch for the orb to shoot a zombie, and then players must kill that zombie and interact with the orb they drop and carry it over to the blue orb. Players must do this twice, which will kill the zombies and send the blue orb away. Remember to pick up the Multiphasic Resonator upon completion.
Now, players are heading to the South Island, Crab Island, where a green orb will be found. Place the Multiphasic Resonator at the orb and wait for the orb to strike zombies, then carry said orb into the larger orb. This also needs to be done twice, and players should be warned that parasites will spawn during this encounter. Once completed, players can pick up the Multiphasic Resonator and head to the third and final island.
Head to the North-West island of Temple Island, where there will be a purple orb floating on the shore. Place the Multiphasic Resonator by it, and then kill zombies shot by the orb to carry their essence to the orb just like the previous two orbs. Once completed, the AMP Munition part will drop.
Step 7: Craft the DRI-11 Beamsmasher
Players will now have the AMP Munition, Multiphasic Resonator, and EMF Fob, which are all the parts they need to craft the DRI-11 Beamsmasher. With these three parts obtained, head back to the Research Office on the main Terminus island, and at the back of the room is the crafting table that they can interact with to assemble the DRI-11 Beamsmasher for their own personal use.
Is the DRI-11 Beamsmasher Worth It?
The DRI-11 Beamsmasher is a great Wonder Weapon that players should add to their arsenal in Terminus due to how accessible it is and how easy it will make hitting higher rounds. The DRI-11 Beamsmasher’s crackling energy beam fire is pretty deadly, but it can be made even better with its alt-fire ability to stun zombies, including Amalgams. Not only will the enemies stun for a short duration, but they will take extra damage from weapons, so it certainly makes the camo grind easier if players can reach high rounds due to a gun that will constantly weaken targets.
Players can also try their luck at the Mystery Box to get the DRI-11 Beamsmasher, or use the Wonderbar! Ultra GobbleGum, but remember, the Beamsmasher is not in Liberty Falls, only Terminus.
