Every game has its own host of NPCs, and Luma Island does too. As you explore and settle into living on the island, you’ll meet all sorts of townspeople who act as professional mentors or friends to check in on. There are strange talking stones that tell you the history of the island, and even a mushroom humanoid.

Luma Island: 8 Beginner Tips
Starting a farm is never easy, and Luma Island has its own mechanics to make the process a bit more difficult. Find out some useful tips here!
The Mushroom Man, also known to some as Mr. Truffles, is one of the island’s oldest inhabitants, and it’s implied he’s been around since the ancient druids walked the lands with their Lumas. He enjoys keeping to himself and isn’t too fond of humans, but he won’t deny a paying customer.
Who Is The Mushroom Man?
The Mushroom Man is one of the many mysterious residents of Luma Island, and he sells specialty goods at his store, Mr. Truffle’s Extravaganza Shop.
It offers a variety of basic materials like regional woods and stones, as well as regional items you can’t purchase from other shops, like fish and gems.
Instead of gold, he accepts one of four Nature Tokens as payment, and each shop asks for its regional equivalent, such as his shop on the Farm asking for Farm Nature Tokens.
Nature Tokens can be obtained by
searching treasure piles, defeating enemies, opening chests, and breaking barrels and vases
in a particular region.
The one downside to his shops is that his stock is smaller for those basic materials than others, such as the Carpenter’s Shop for wood, and you’ll need to farm up more Tokens if you run out of them, as opposed to just selling things.
Despite that, the Mushroom Man’s excellent for those times when you need one more of a gem or fish but don’t feel like catching it if you’re pursuing the Fisherman, Jewelrycrafter, or Archaeologist Professions, and he’s the only way to get Everseeds outside of getting lucky with chest loot.
You can buy Luma Power Food from the Mushroom Man and
double the amount of Luma Energy you get per Luma each day
by feeding it to them.
All Mr. Truffle’s Extravaganza Shops And What They Sell
The Mushroom Man has one shop in each region. All of them can be found almost as soon as you access an area, and they don’t require any puzzles to unlock them.
At first, you only have a small variety of items available to purchase, but the first time you find a regional item such as a fish, gem, treasure material such as Glue, or unlock a crop, the item will be added to the Mushroom Man’s respective shop inventory.
Farm Shop

Mushroom Man’s shop in the Jungle is in the southeastern corner of the region, past the stone arch and on a small island that’s attached to a large bridge you need to repair.
His location in the Jungle is the most difficult to find, as the
