With the Illuminate joining the ongoing galactic war, Super Earth has sent an all-new Premium Warbond that contains everything players need to send enemies packing in Helldivers 2. Urban Legends, as the name suggests, is all about gaining an edge in the new city environments that rolled out with the Omens of Tyranny update. The emphasis on melee and close-quarters combat readies players with weapons and stratagems like the Flame Sentry and the Directional Shield, while also including a new, long-range anti-tank emplacement.
If players are pressed for Medals, below are the only items (rewards) they can focus on unlocking in the Urban Legends Warbond of Helldivers 2.

6 SH-51 Directional Shield
One-Way Energy Barrier to Absorb Enemy Fire

Cost |
75 Medals |
The Directional Shield deploys an energy barrier in front of players, protecting them from enemy projectiles on one hand while they use the other to return fire with one-handed SMGs in Helldivers 2.
The new backpack is similar to the SH-20 Ballistic Shield Backpackbut not as effective. The Directional Shield does not block melee damage or reduce flinch. However, its energy barrier covers a pretty wide area, protecting the player and teammates alongside or behind them. So, if a team wants an additional line of defense for certain missions, the Directional Shield provides pretty good support.
5 CQC-19 Stun Lance
Poke Them to Death

Melee Weapon |

The Urban Legends Warbond marks the first inclusion of melee weapons in Helldivers 2. The Stun Lance stuns and damages enemies with every thrust. The best part? The Stun Lance is one-handed and has infinite ammo. Paired with the Directional Shield, players can safely take on multiple enemies solo.
The
Helldivers 2
Superstore rotation
includes a Stun Baton with a shorter range, but faster attack speed alongside a wider area of effect, meaning the
Stun Baton can hit/stun multiple enemies
on each hit as long as they are within range.
4 A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry
Automated Flamethrower Turret
Item Type |
Sentry Stratagem |

Cost |
85 Medals |
Having a flamethrower turret is something the Helldivers 2 community has been wanting for a while now. The Flame Sentry has a large enough fuel tank to burn dozens of enemies, maybe more, and is especially effective against the Voteless. While its short range and slow rotation speed might seem inconvenient, the Flame Sentry works wonders in tight spaces.
Like all sentries in
Helldivers 2
, the longer they stay up the better. Hence, get rid of all heavies and ranged enemies before they reach the Flame Sentry. This ensures the flamethrower turret can effectively lock down an area.
3 Armed Resupply Pods
Resupply Pods Become Mini Turrets

This booster is another item worth getting from the Urban Legends Warbond in Helldivers 2. It converts Resupply Pods into sentries by attaching a modified AR-23 Liberatoron top of them. Armed Resupply Pods are pretty useful for holding areas while completing objectives, allowing players to work with terminals while the Resupply Pod turret takes care of approaching enemies.
2 SR-24 Street Scout/SR-18 Roadblock Armor
More Ammo, Faster Reloads

Body Armor and Helmet |

The Urban Legends Warbond introduces an all-new armor passive called Siege-Ready, giving primary weapons 30 percent faster reloads and 20 percent additional ammunition capacity. It is perfect for players who prefer engaging instead of retreating. The additional ammo and faster reloads ensure players can stay in combat for longer durations. It also makes semi-automatic weapons and shotguns highly more effective and efficient.
Additionally, players get both light and heavy variants of the body armor with the Urban Legends Warbond, allowing them to choose between mobility and survival.
1 E/AT-12 Anti-Tank Emplacement
Fire Artillery Rounds Across the Map
Item Type |
Emplacement Stratagem |
---|---|
Warbond Location |
Page 3 |
Cost |
110 Medals |
The new Anti-Tank Emplacement is insanely good against Automatons. It gives players an alternative strategy to the FAF-14 Spearwhere they could potentially destroy all if not most of the Automaton Fabricators and Stratagem Jammers on the map by finding a high vantage point to lock on to every enemy structure within range.
Find a spot for the Anti-Tank Emplacement with a clear view, man the turret, and start taking out armored targets at long ranges. Each explosive round damage sits between the ML5-4X Commando and the GR-8 Recoilless Rifle. With a 30-round capacity, make sure to target armored targets or structures instead of light enemies.
- It takes one shot to destroy Illuminate dropship via the underbelly, circular bay door.
- Automaton dropships take two shots to their engines.
- Chargers go down with one shot as well.
- Any other heavies take two shots to their heads or weak spots.
