The new Peerless Light Patch Update is almost here with the Ranked Season 35 and is bringing a new hero, Lukas. Lukas is a powerful close-combat fighter hero who excels in dealing with sustained damage and controlling fights with his abilities. In this guide, we will look at the best emblem, spell, and build, including tips and tricks to pave your way to victory with the new hero, Lukas in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

Lukas becomes even more terrifying on the battlefield when he unleashes his ultimate ability which allows him to morph into a powerful Sacred Beast with new enhanced abilities. This and many more, make Lukas a mighty foe to contend with on the battlefield. Skill Analysis

Passive: Hero’s Resolve

Lukas gains 1 Resolve per second and an additional 2 Resolve when dealing damage to heroes. Lukas consumes 10 Resolve per second while in Sacred Beast form.

First Skill: Flash Combo

• CD: 5.5s
• AOE (CC Skill)
• Passive: Lukas can enhance Flash Combo with his Basic Attacks up to 2 times, lasting 4s.
• Active: Lukas consumes all Vigor to unleash Pulverize, dealing 300-600 (+120% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage, plus additional attacks depending on the Vigor consumed (recovers HP equal to 8% of Max HP when hitting a hero.
• 1 Stack: Lukas briefly stuns the target and spins his tonfa hammers to deal 100-200 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage 3 times, pulling the enemy toward him.
• 2 Stacks: Lukas briefly stuns the target and follows up with 2 attacks that deal 50-100 (+20% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage per hit. He will then spin his tonfa hammers to deal 100 (+80% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage 3 times (cannot be interrupted).

Second Skill: Flash Step

• CD: 12/11.2/10.4/9.6/8.8/8s
• Mobility Skill (Buff)
• Lukas dashes in the target direction and turns his next Basic Attack within 4s into Flash Strike.
• Flash Strike: Lukas blinks behind the enemy, dealing 60-120 (+125% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage. He then increases his Attack Range, gains 20% Movement Speed and 20% Attack Speed, and summons Lightning storms with Basic Attacks to deal extra Physical damage, lasting for 4 seconds.

Third Skill – Unleash the Beast

• Morph, Buff Skill: Lukas transforms into his sacred Beast form. While in this state, his base Movement Speed is increased by 30, all attributes are increased by 15%-20%, and his skills gain new effects. Pulverize unleashes a Tail swing, Flash Step’s dish distance is increased, and Flash Combo pounces on the target instead of blinking behind them.
• Use Again: Lukas in Sacred Beast form fires a Shockwave Blast in the target direction that will explore upon hitting an enemy hero or reaching its maximum range, dealing 300 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and causing 3 aftershocks that each deal 80 (+25% Total Physical Attack ) Physical Damage.
• Beast Form ultimate ability – Shockwave Blast: The Sacred Beast fires a Shockwave Blast in the target direction that will explode upon hitting an enemy hero or reaching its maximum range, dealing 300-500 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and causing 3 aftershocks that each deal 80-160 (+25% Total Physical Attack ) Physical Damage.

Skill-up method for Lukas

While using Lukas, unlock Lukas’ Skill 1 first and upgrade it alongside Skill 2 accordingly, and Ultimate whenever available. Skill 1 should be prioritized for upgrades, as its lower cooldown and sufficient damage make it ideal for harassing enemies during the laning phase.

Emblem Setup

Lukas is a versatile hero who can be played as an Exp Lane or Jungle hero, thanks to his abilities that enable consistent engagement on the battlefield. To maximize his potential, we’ve compiled some of the best Emblem and Talent setups to help Lukas excel in his chosen role.

It is highly advisable to use Lukas in the Exp lane, therefore, the Fighter Emblem is highly recommended due to its durability, damage and sustain perks. But if you are to use Lukas as the Jungler, the Custom Assassin Emblem is the most advisable emblem as it grants Lukas extra penetration and bonus physical attack. The following are the most suitable talents to equip during emblem setup:

• In the First Tier Talent, pick Firmness for its extra Magic and Physical Defense, granting Lukas more durability early on. While using Lukas as a Jungler, opt for Rupture, as it provides adaptive penetration, giving him an early-game damage boost.

• Tough boots, for extra CC and slow-duration reduction as well as for extra magic defence in the laning phase. However, if the enemies rely more on physical damage, building Warrior Boots is highly recommended.
• Purchase War Axe, for extra Spell Vamp and increased attack damage the more Lukas fights. It also deals extra true damage to enemies making it a reliable damage and sustain item.
• You can then purchase Hunter strike for extra physical penetration and movement speed on dealing damage to enemies.

Lukas is a versatile fighter with a playstyle that focuses on sustained damage, crowd control, and durability. He can adapt to various team compositions and excel in extended team fights, effectively utilizing his abilities. With his ultimate’s perks, Lukas gains the ability to morph, finishing enemies with his new enhanced skills and ultimate.

According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Nonetheless, a player must have a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero. This MLBB Lukas guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late gameplay of Lukas.

Early Game

Due to his skill set and capabilities, Lukas can be played in either the Exp lane or as a Jungler. However, the Exp lane is the most recommended option for him. While laning in the Exp lane, Lukas excels at clearing minion waves quickly and harassing enemies with his skills. His first skill allows him to deal consistent damage to opponents, disrupting their lane presence. The skill also provides a momentary stun, which can prove invaluable in the right situation by disrupting the enemy’s EXP laner skills and ability combos.

Skill 2 + Basic Attack + Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 1 (again)

Mid Game

Lukas shines well in this phase due to his burst damage output and versatile skill combos. Look for opportunities to join teamfights, especially when your team is contesting the turtle. Focus on pressuring enemies with crowd control from Lukas’ human form abilities, and use it to engage and zone enemies while stacking or targeting key backline threats.

To get the best out of Lukas, ensure to always stack your passive’s Vigor, as it enhances your abilities greatly. For instance, using Lukas’ first skill at 2 stacks of Vigor will inflict additional CC and make Lukas immune to CC for a brief period. This brief CC immunity if properly timed will allow Lukas to negate certain enemy abilities and damage, giving him the edge in crucial team fights. Do also note that to morph into the beast, you have to stack up more Vigor to unlock the ability and outburst amounts of damage.

Late Game

In full-scale team fights during the late game, your role shifts to engaging and pressuring the enemy’s backline. Focus on disabling high-priority enemy targets, such as the marksman mage, or enemy assassin. In the late game, Lukas becomes a formidable force once his build is complete. His Sacred Beast form enables him to dive into the enemy backline, applying pressure and threatening high-priority targets like marksmen. With Shockwave Blast, he unleashes burst AoE damage from a distance, disrupting formations and shifting team fights in his favour.

This combination of aggressive mobility and ranged damage makes Lukas a key player in securing victory during critical late-game engagements. Also, remember not to rush in early into fights, rather try to coordinate with your team’s roamer to initiate battles. This phase of the game is crucial, as you must stay alert to enemy positioning and timing to avoid unnecessary ambushes and deaths.
