Standard Player Cards in eFootball are base cards representing players in their regular form. They have fixed stats that mirror their real-life performance and can be leveled up to improve their stats. You can also upgrade them and add skills to them. It might be the basic version, but the easiest to get.

How to get

You can get them by multiple methods. The easiest and the go-to way is via Contracts. You can visit either Standard Player List or Standard Player Tickets options available which will allow you to sign normal players. The former makes use of GP, while Tickets must be claimed via Events to sign a random player. in some cases, there will be campaign events that give us these players for free.

Featured Player Cards or Special Player Cards as you would say, are next in line. Not to be confused with Trending Cards, these are separated from the Regular cards where you get updated stats, updated skills, and other differences. They also can be trained and allotted Progression Points. However, they are considered to be rare.

How to get

Featured cards can be obtained in different ways. Usually, club-based campaigns come with a Featured set of cards or even Player Packs. In some cases, Chance Deals will also be made available for premium packs where you can get free tries before you dish out Coins.

I don’t know why KONAMI treats these differently, as they are a similar kind of type as Featured Players. These cards are dished out frequently However, there is a subsection of Highlight cards called Show Time, which again belongs to the premium side of the player card type. They come with special skills which players can notice in their cards’ Player Skills section.

How to get

While events and campaigns give us plenty of these Highlight Cards, Nominating Contracts also has these Special Player Cards available which you can sign and train. Meanwhile, Show Time cards, usually come in Box Draws. However, eFootball has given some of these cards for free previously which is generous, so expect a few more of them when they arrive.

Trending Player Cards are your POTWs in general, but also include Special Event cards. Now, what differentiates these types of cards from the Featured ones is that these cannot be trained. You cannot use Trainers, Position Boosters, or even Skill Tickets on these cards. They come with a high overall, but these restrictions make it a drawback in some cases where Featured Cards can be built better.

How to get

Every week you will get a refreshed set of POTW cards which you can get from the contract section. On completing the Tour Event that arrives every Thursday, you get a Chance Deal so you can sign one for free.

5. Legendary Player Cards

Overview

Back in the PES days, these were the cards that made players excited. First Legend, and then the Iconic Players, pulling these special cards felt like a big win. Now, while they’re still useful, Epic cards have taken the spotlight.

These cards come with darker gold or pink backgrounds, but both types are now considered Legendary, still offering top-tier performance for your team. They aren’t affected by Live Updates, meaning they have a permanent “B” Live Condition Rating

How to get

Well, getting them has been a distant dream. Sometimes we do get a refreshed eFootball Shop rewards as these cards pop up, but these aren’t game-breaking or anything.

6. Epic Player Cards

Epic Player Cards feature players who have reached remarkable milestones at some point in their careers. These cards mostly represent retired legends, but a few active players are also included. Epic cards capture a specific moment in a player’s career, and their stats reflect their overall contributions during that period. The cards maintain a permanent “B” Live Condition Rating.

How to get

They are the most premium cards in the game, so they are mostly given out with a 150-player Coin Box Draw. Of course, if a campaign is live, you can get lucky and get some Chance Deals to burn. Player Packs are another way to get these cards, depending on the availability of these cards.

7. Big Time Player Cards

Overview

Similar to those Epic Cards, Big Time Player Cards celebrate a player’s performance during a particular, standout match. These cards showcase a player’s peak form on a specific day, with the match date often displayed on the card. Big Time cards tend to have higher stats than Epic cards, reflecting the player’s exceptional display in that one game. Like Epic cards, they also maintain a permanent “B” Live Condition Rating.

How to get

The acquisition of Big Time cards is similar to that of Epics. Box Draws, Player Packs, Events, and Campaigns are the way to go if you want to acquire these new shiny cards.
