As more content is added in a World of Warcraft expansion, it can be difficult for some players to keep their gear up to date if they haven’t been playing as much. As a result, Blizzard will often release some form of catch up gear that can be transferred to alts. While this Warbound gear is often not spectacular, it can certainly help players who may have just completed the campaign and then took a break for a few months.
As part of the Siren Isle content update, Blizzard added a unique ring called Cyrce’s Circlet that serves not only as a piece of powerful catch up gear, but is also something that everyone will certainly find useful considering it starts at item level 639, which puts it at the same level as loot that can be obtained from the last two bosses of Nerub-ar Palace.

How to Get Cyrce’s Circlet
Getting Cyrce’s Circlet is one of the first things you will do upon arriving at Siren Isle. Prioritize the quests that have a purple triangle with an exclamation point, as this is how you will unlock this powerful new ring. This questline introduces you to the island and eventually ends with you either repairing the ring yourself or watching the Earthen do it.
Right from the get-go, Cyrce’s Circlet has the following stats:
- Item Level: 639
- +13,614 Stamina
In addition to that, it has three unique sockets:
- Singing Thunder Socket
- Singing Sea Socket
- Singing Wind Socket
These sockets require unique gems that can only be acquired on Siren Isle. Just like in Mists of Pandaria Remix, Gems can be socketed and unsocketed which allows you to swap gems as you gradually unlock more. There are only a handful of gems, but they are guaranteed rewards, but some are time-gated. Currently, these are all the gems that are available along with what their effects are.

As you unlock more gems, they become available for purchase from Angorla for 50 Flame-Blessed Iron. This allows you to quickly catch up with alts so that they don’t have to go around the entirety of Siren Isle unlocking every single gem.
As more gems unlock, they will be added to the table above.
How to Upgrade the Item Level of Cyrce’s Circlet
Once you’ve unlocked Cyrce’s Circlet, you will also unlock the ability to upgrade its item level. This is accomplished by acquiring Raw Singing Citrine, which you can obtain by completing a series of quests that unlock over the next few weeks, starting with “Uncovering Mysteries” which rewards you with your first Raw Singing Citrine.
When you use Raw Singing Citrine, it will increase the item level of your Cyrce’s Circlet by three, increasing the amount of Stamina the ring provides. Increasing the item level will also increase the effect of gems as well. For example, at item level 642, Windsinger’s Runed Citrine increases your highest secondary stat by 2,236 rather than 1,887.
