A new Pokemon TCG Pocket leak has revealed nine promo cards coming to the game. Promo cards are as special as the most rare cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket, as most are obtained through limited-time events. They also have some differences from their original counterparts, which makes them even more unique.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has 23 promo cards that are part of the Genetic Apex set, the first in the game. Two of the most notable are the Pikachu and Mewtwo cards that players get by subscribing to the Premium Pass, with the card of the franchise’s mascot no longer being available. Another highlight is Lapras ex, the only card of this rarity dedicated to the Kanto Water-type, and the biggest reward given during the first Solo Battles event. However, following the new wave of information released, this list of Pokemon cards will soon increase.

Players may also notice other information, such as the blue-marked cards, potential rewards from the Blastoise event, and the red-marked cards, part of a future Wonder Pick event. It’s unknown how Moltres ex will be available, though this will be the fifth variant of the Pokemon TCG Pocket ex card featuring the Legendary bird of Kanto.
These are exciting times for players of deNA’s hit mobile game, as in addition to more promo cards coming to the game, the first mini-set has been released. Named Mythical Island, it added 68 new cards that players can pull by opening mini-set-themed booster packs. One is Celebi ex, which the community is already dubbing as Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s newest OP card due to its power and synergy with another recently introduced card.
