Helldivers 2 is officially crossing over with Killzone 2, bringing a bunch of themed cosmetics and even a new primary weapon to the Superstore.
You can purchase the Assault Infantry armour right now, along with the iconic StA-52 assault rifle (a futuristic spin on the FAMAS). There’s also a unique cape, banner, and player title, all themed around Killzone 2.
We decided a long time ago to do crossovers only if and when they make perfect sense for the game. So in that spirit, we’re hyped to announce our very first crossover: Killzone 2.
There’s been a lot of pushback to the Superstore as of late, which developer Arrowhead has also taken on board with the Killzone 2 crossover. It will be used to test a longer page rotation, with “two pages of items to explore”. Afterwards, the regular rotation will return while Arrowhead gathers feedback from the community.
Part One Of The Crossover Is Out Now
The Killzone 2 crossover is being split into two parts. The first is themed around the afformentioned Assault Infantry, but the crossover banner also shows the Scout Sniper, which will presumably be the focus of the second part.
Part one is available for five days, and then Part 2 will follow on December 23.
