The pop culture crossover game Funko Fusion recently got some new content based on the Mega Man series, adding on to the game’s existing content from the hit Capcom franchise and giving fans more characters to play as. The new DLC features two new playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and expands the roster of pop culture icons available in Funko Fusion even further.
When Funko Fusion was first revealed, developer 10:10 Games largely marketed it as a massive pop culture crossover featuring characters and maps from fan-favorite franchises of all sorts. Featuring characters from the likes of Jurassic World, Masters of the Universe, and even Five Nights at Freddy’s, the game has only expanded further with several DLC packs that have launched since.

The latest of these is the new Mega Man pack, available for $9.99 in Funko Fusion across all platforms, which features Mega Man ally Proto Man and the villainous Dr. Wiley, each with their own unique moves. 10:10 Games revealed the pack with a short trailer showing off the key characters from the Mega Man universe interacting with others across the various franchises represented in the game.
Funko Fusion Expands Its Mega Man Roster With New DLC
Both characters appear to include an alternate in-game skin as well, with Dr. Wiley’s taking on a zombie-like green appearance, while Proto Man has a black, flame-ridden alternate costume for players to use. As for gameplay, both characters appear to reflect their abilities from the original Mega Man games in which they appear, with Dr. Wiley focusing on melee combat and Proto Man using laser blasters and projectile weapons.
The Mega Man DLC is the latest of several that have come out since the game’s launch earlier this year, each of which has added various characters and levels from an array of popular IPs. 10:10 Games previously launched a pack featuring characters from the popular sitcom The Office, while Bob Ross and Wukong made their way to Funko Fusion just before that.
The crossovers don’t stop there, either, as another Funko Fusion pack based on the film Wicked also launched recently to join the myriad other franchises already present in the game for players to swap around. Each new pack expands the possibilities for players to create unique crossovers between their favorite characters and fictional worlds in a format that has seen a lot of comparisons to the LEGO video game series.
