Pokemon TCG Pocket has just expanded its growing meta with the release of the mobile game’s first themed booster pack, Mythical Island. Following up on the comparatively large Genetic Apex expansion that previously dropped, this Mew-centric set of new cards is filled with new representatives for every rarity in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
While it mostly consists of common cards likely to be found in Regular packs, the Rare “God Packs” which have a low percentage chance of being pulled can show off just how many EXs have been added in Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Mythical Island booster. Between powerful Pokemon and Support options alike, these 86 cards are set to redefine the competitive landscape of deck building until the next release.

Mew EX Leads God Packs
With 18 out of the 86 cards in the set being classified as “Super Rares”, there’s a decent chance of adding one of these important cards to the collection. The likes of one of the best Grass-type cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket, Celebi EX, are worth building entire decks around due to their high damage potential in one turn.

Two Diamond Rarity Cards
The rest of what fills the Mew Pack largely serves to flesh out the new game, but cards like Scolipede have the potential to lead an effective Poison gimmick that can compete with the best decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Genetic Apex expansion.
