Few live-service games have managed to keep things as fresh and interesting as Fortnite, with plenty of changes hitting the game this winter. Originally released back in 2017, developer Epic Games has given Fortnite countless makeovers and new modes over the years, all of which continue in the game’s current season. However, collaborations are also a big piece of the Fortnite puzzle, with famous faces, both real and fictional, making their way into the title. This will continue this winter, with Fortnite expected to crossover with Cyberpunk 2077 for a new bundle right before Christmas.

New Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 Collab Dropping December 23
As stated earlier, collaborations and crossovers remain a central part of the Fortnite experience. With Cyberpunk 2077 being such a ubiquitous title in the gaming space, many fans believe it makes perfect sense to add it to Fortnite. Cyberpunk 2077 certainly suffered from a rough launch, but CD Projekt Red has worked hard to make the game a satisfying and complete package in the years following its release. The game’s massive DLC expansion, Phantom Liberty, offered players the chance to explore Night City in even greater depth, though this content marked the end of the road for Cyberpunk 2077.
Recent collaborations have proven that Epic Games is eager to work with just about anyone and anything, with a new Skibidi Toilet bundle dropping into Fortnite tonight. Plenty more is in store, with Fortnite currently in the middle of its brand-new Chapter 6 update. Officially titled “Hunters,” Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 ushers in a new age for the battle royale, once again proving Fortnite is a lot more than another third-person shooter. As part of Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 update, Epic Games introduced Ballistic, a new tactical shooter experience presented entirely in first person. This new Fortnite game mode marks the tip of the iceberg, with Epic Games likely set to develop more content designed for a first-person viewpoint in the coming seasons.
