The Vatican City in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is full of mysteries to find, puzzles to solve, and locked safes to unlock. Although some locked chests or safes are easier to crack, as a note generally has the combination written on it, others are tougher, requiring players to solve a mystery before finding out the required code.

Regardless of the difficulty, here are all the codes you need to unlock the locked chests and safes located inside Vatican City in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

All Safe Codes & Combinations in the Vatican City

There are 7 locked safes and chests located in the Vatican City region of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. Most of them are tied to a mystery, while others are related to a fieldwork quest that players have to start in order to get their combination. Here are all the safe codes and what each safe contains:

Belvedere Courtyard Locked Chest

As soon as players get the Clerk key and enter the Vatican City, they’ll spot a tent right in front of them with the aforementioned Belvedere Courtyard locked chest inside it. It’ll require you to find a ticket stub inside one of the drawers, which has the combination on its front and back.

Vatican Cellar Locked Chest

Players will access the Vatican Cellar during A Savage Discovery fieldwork that ends with a confrontation with a Nazi soldier. After taking him down, players will get a note off his body that comes with a clue to the combination of the locked chest in the Vatican’s Cellar.

Sistine Chapel Locked Safe

This locked safe is part of the Vatican mystery, “Secret of Secrets,” which involves players discovering Astronomical Symbols underneath the two statues in the room. After finding the signs, you must reference them with a chart found in the table’s drawer to come up with a code.

Museum Wing Locked Chest

The locked chest inside a soldier’s tent in the restricted section of the Museum Wing is part of the “A Date to Remember” mystery in the Vatican City. It involves players finding out the current shipment date from a manifest and deciphering the code behind it from a cipher code lookup table.

Excavation Site Locked Safe

This safe can be opened as part of the fieldwork quest called “Signs of Trouble.” It can be started by picking up a note from Gina in the Sistine Chapel’s Altar.

Borgia Tower Locked Safe

Towards the end of the fieldwork quest “A Nun in Trouble,” Indy receives a key from Sister Giuliana. Reaching the Borgia Courtyard and using the key on the door will allow players to open the safe by deciphering a Polybius Square Puzzle, which is part of the Father and Son mystery.

Vatican Museum Storage Room Locked Safe

Heading into the restricted section of Via Di Belvedere, players will enter the Museum storage room and can find the safe code by turning off a nearby lamp.
