What to Do With Duplicate Clothing

What to Do With Duplicate Clothing

Players can obtain many pieces of clothing by rolling on Infinity Nikki‘s Resonance banners and Surprise-O-Matic machine. Fans will not always receive a new item from banners and the Surprise-O-Matic, though, and they will accumulate a lot of duplicate clothing over time. Fortunately, it is possible to make use of duplicate clothing in Infinity Nikki, and this guide is here to elaborate upon that statement.

Players will earn
Tranquility Droplets
when they receive a duplicate item from a Resonance banner. This currency can be exchanged through the Resonance tab of the in-game shop, giving fans additional access to Crystals, crafting materials, and more.

Evolve Outfits

Players who want to evolve their outfits will ultimately need to obtain duplicates of every piece of clothing in the outfit. To concretize this idea with examples, the 5-star outfits on the Distant Sea banner all have three evolutions, and the last of those evolutions in Infinity Nikki require full duplicates of the outfit. As such, players should plan to hold onto the outfit-based duplicates that they receive when rolling on banners.

Exchange for Glitter Bubbles

Players can exchange their unwanted duplicate clothing for Glitter Bubbles, materials that are used to perform the final glow-up on items. That final glow-up can be pursued once a piece of clothing has been upgraded to Level 10, and the item’s stats determine the type of Glitter Bubbles that are required. Indeed, there are five different Glitter Bubbles (Elegant, Fresh, Sweet, Sexy, and Cool), and fans are able to choose between them when exchanging their duplicate clothing.

Players do not have the ability to exchange duplicate clothing straightaway, though, as they must first unlock the feature. Here is how that is done:

  1. Reach Mira Level 31. Players who want to expedite this step are advised to read this guide to raising Mira Level in Infinity Nikki.
  2. Complete a Caged Greed Trial in the Realm of the Dark. These trials become available upon reaching Mira Level 31, and players can access Infinity Nikki‘s Realm of the Dark through any Warp Spire.
  3. Open the Pear-Pal, access the Friends app, and check the messages from Dada. There should be a message called “Outfit Recycling,” which indicates that a new Faewish Sprite has arrived in Florawish.

If a player does not hear from Dada after completing a Caged Greed Trial, they should use the Glow-Up app to upgrade an item to Level 10 and then check their messages again.

Once players receive the aforementioned message from Dada, they should find that a new icon has appeared near the Great Wishtree in Florawish. That icon marks the position of a Faewish Sprite named Yelubo, and fans should speak with her to access the Recycling menu. Infinity Nikki players should then choose the duplicate clothing that they wish to recycle (and the type of Glitter Bubbles that they would like to receive in exchange), and then confirm their selections.
