PUBG Mobile Frost Festival brings Christmas themed content in Erangel and Livik maps

PUBG Mobile never fails to amaze us with new and exciting in-game content and updates. Recently, in the 3.5 version update of the game, we got to see the Icemire Frontier mode where a lot of snowy stuff came to the game to give us a chilly festive vibe.

Now they have announced that during the Holidays, we will see a brand new celebration campaign called the PUBG Mobile Frost Festival. In this article, we are going to discuss every event and hidden rewards regarding this new event in PUBG Mobile.

Frost Festival brings brand new Christmas-themed content

This new PUBG Mobile Frost Festival event is added to give us a cozy, homely feeling during the end of the year. We will get many rewards by playing the game and interacting with others.

Let’s see all the items of the event:

Snowy Vale

During the Frost Festival, the Erangel and Livik map will be updated with a special area with falling snow. The name of this place is Snowy Vale. This is a warm and peaceful area where we will not be able to use any weapons. We can hang out here casually with friends and sometimes with enemies too.

We can start the fire in the fireplace inside the house and the smoke will come out from the chimney on the rooftop. If you take a sip from the hot beverage inside the house, some parts of your energy bar will be restored. You can also take photos here. We will also see a festive tree with lots of Christmas decorations. We can upgrade this tree using other decorative items too. Click photos with this tree to get loads of supplies.

Nutcrackers

During this period, keep an eye out for the Nutcrackers who bring the Christmas spirit to you. Find them to get the loot they leave behind after you shoot them with weapons. Nutcrackers come in four different colors. You can locate these different colored Nutcrackers and bring them with you to add to your collection. You can also trade them with your friends.

Festive Gifts

During this PUBG Mobile Frost Festival event, you will get a special holiday outfit, a new lobby theme, a Santa Clause voice pack, and more rewards. You can locate the Nutcrackers or go to the Snowy Vale to get the event limited Mistletoe. We can use these items to upgrade your festive tree in the event and get the Caribou Mercenary Set, which is a Legendary-level outfit. You can also get the Ice Witch theme and HoHoHo voice pack.

The festive tree level in Snowy Vale is synced with your Frost Festival tree in the lobby. Look out for special Gold Nutcrackers to get extra draw chances in the Frost Festival event. You will also get extra draw chances when you log in on Christmas Day and on 1st January 2025.

The special New Year fireworks event is the first of its kind

This year PUBG Mobile is going all out to attract the new audience and bring back the old player base. They will be hosting its very first New Year Fireworks event on the battleground. On December 31st aka New Year’s Eve, we can start a classic mode match on any ranked or unranked map and at 8 PM you will notice a countdown in the sky for the New Year.

On January 1st, at midnight, New Year fireworks will light up the sky. It is worth noting that the fireworks event goes by the local time of the server. Make sure to verify when the event begins on your server.
