Fans of Overwatch 2 have plenty to dig into following the launch of the game’s 14th season, though some players have spotted a hilarious new glitch which causes one of Zenyatta’s emotes to break in the best way possible. Glitches are an inevitability in any game, but if there’s any type of bug that’s sure to entertain players, it’s the type that affects character models – specifically in the case of this Overwatch 2 glitch, giving players the ability to A-pose as Zenyatta at will.
This isn’t actually the first time that an emote in Overwatch 2 has bugged out in such a way, with one of Lucio’s emotes encountering a similar issue earlier this year. Every new major update for the game, while often fixing a ton of existing bugs, is almost certain to introduce some new ones. Such is the case for the game each time a new season comes around, and though players typically encounter bugs affecting UI and cosmetics at times like this, more pressing bugs that directly affect gameplay can occasionally arise as well.

Overwatch 2’s Season 14 Overwatch Classic Event Should Divide and Conquer
Blizzard revealed that the popular limited time event Overwatch Classic will be returning in Season 14 and it could benefit from a slight change.
Thankfully, new issues like these tend to be cleaned up pretty quickly by the team behind the game following the launch of a new season for Overwatch 2. A clip showcasing this Zenyatta bug was recently posted online by the player RiffleChipz, and demonstrates how Zen’s Retro Hero emote now results in the hero assuming the A-pose instead of playing the correct animation. This pose looks all the more unsettling with Zenyatta floating in a sitting position, leaving many players so entertained by it that some have requested that Blizzard keep the glitch the way it is.
This Overwatch 2 Bug Is So Funny Some Fans Don’t Want It to Go
Cursed animation glitches aside, though, Overwatch 2‘s Season 14 update has implemented a long list of general bug fixes while introducing a good amount of new content to keep players going. Perhaps paramount among all the new additions to the game is the latest member of the hero roster, Hazard, a tank hero featuring abilities which bring a strategic focus to the character’s gameplay style.
Beyond the new hero, players can start working on completing another new battle pass packed with rewards, including a mythic skin for Reinhardt. Though not initially available with the release of the new season, players will soon be able to jump back into 6v6 matches in a limited-time game mode that goes live from December 17 to January 6. The re-run of this 6v6 game mode comes shortly after the extremely popular initial run of Overwatch Classic last month.
