Marvel Rivalshas a variety of Team-Ups that create great synergy between some characters and give them extra abilities to make them stronger in battle. However, there are also Ultimate combos between heroes who don’t have Team-Up abilities that can make or break the game, with some being so strong that they can spell a team wipe.

Marvel Rivals: 6 Fastest Ways To Level Up
Looking to level up fast in Marvel Rivals? Here are some top tips for doing just that.
Especially with Ultimates like Doctor Strange’s and Groot’s that keep enemy players in one place, there’s a lot of potential in cooperating and using Ultimates together that can turn the tide of a fight — or even an entire match. Here are some of the best Ultimate combos you can use in Marvel Rivals.
Cloak & Dagger And Winter Soldier
The key to this combination is really Winter Soldier’s Ultimate, which does damage to enemies and marks them. This mark places a threshold on their health bar, and if their health ever crosses this threshold, they will die instantly. As he gets kills, Winter Soldier can use his Ultimate over again to mark even more enemies, possibly even wiping out the whole team.
Cloak & Dagger’s Ultimate doesn’t only heal teammates, but it leaves behind a trail of harmful energy that damages enemies over time. Pairing this with Winter Soldier’s Ultimate means that you can get them down below the threshold very quickly, wiping out his targets in no time and allowing him to reuse his Ultimate as they get picked off. This combo is especially effective when the clock hits Overtime, and you’re trying to win back point, because most of the enemy team will be grouped up in one place. Even if you don’t get the damage out, it’s likely that you’ll chase them off the point and win the round.
Mantis And Magik
Magik’s Ultimate essentially makes her much more dangerous, enhancing her abilities to deal greater damage and pick off weaker enemies very quickly. The only caveat is that she swings her sword significantly slower when she’s in this state, making her a bit of an easier target while it’s active.
As such, using her Ultimate in conjunction with Mantis will essentially mean she stays alive and can deal the damage much more quickly. Mantis’ Ultimate heals everyone over time, but it also gives them a movement boost and takes bonus healing and adds it to ally healthbars as bonus health. So, the pair can basically whirl around the point and quickly take enemies down without much danger, and it lets Magik get the most out of her Ultimate while it’s active.
Magneto And Groot
There are multiple challenges to consider when using Magneto’s Ultimate. Not only can too many people fire at you, causing the orb to burn out, but you have a very small area in which you need to try and throw it to get the kills and value you need from it to win a fight. This will mean that many players will try and combo it with Doctor Strange’s Ultimate to try and get just the right amount of momentum, but Groot is actually the better pick alongside Magneto.
Groot’s Ultimate pulls enemies into a small space and holds them there, but they’re still able to fire while they’re caught in it. Magneto needs enemy fire in order to build up his Ult, so pairing it with Groot to get that momentum and a good area where you can throw it to pick off multiple enemies is pretty much the perfect combo.

Doctor Strange And Moon Knight
Now, someone who does pair really well with Doctor Strange is Moon Knight. Moon Knight’s Ultimate is challenging to pull off because enemies can easily spot the circle where it will hit, giving them some time to move out of the way — especially if they’re high mobility heroes.
So, using it with Doctor Strange’s Ultimate, which paralyzes enemies, will guarantee kills. Doctor Strange doesn’t have a massive range with his Ultimate, so the player will need to get in enemy faces in order to pull it off and paralyze enough of them to get value, but the combo can get 5-6 easily if executed correctly.
Rocket Raccoon And Punisher
Rocket Raccoon and Punisher makes a special combination, because not only do their Ultimates work well together, but Rocket has a special ability that allows Punisher to get infinite ammo and his bullets faster. So, all in all, these two are a perfect pairing in any team composition.
As for their Ultimates, Rocket will give his team a significant damage boost, and Punisher enters a turret mode, which does very high damage all by itself. Using them together essentially means that Punisher will be able to pick enemies off more quickly, but the rest of the team will also be able to benefit from Rocket’s Ultimate as well. It’s best used when you’re set up in a defensive position, or if you’re pushing in with your entire team to attack.
Make sure not to use it when it’s just the two of you, because you could run the risk of getting killed before you get the value from the combo.
Captain America And Iron Fist
Even though Captain America is a Vanguard, you may find him in the backline of your enemy more often than not, making their healer’s lives difficult. Iron Fist has a very similar playstyle, which means that the two can support each other very well and separate the enemy backline from their frontline really effectively.
This, obviously, also counts when they use their Ultimate abilities together. Captain America’s Ultimate boosts his own health and movement, but his teammates can also benefit from this by following the path he carves out for them while it’s active. So, if you activate Iron Fist’s Ult — which already makes him fairly difficult to kill — you’ll find that you can pick off enemies extremely quickly while having incredible survivability.
Groot And Iron Man
Another Duelist that pairs well with Groot is Iron Man. Iron Man’s Ultimate has one-shot kill potential when you hit enemies with it, but the game gives a massive red exclamation mark warning of its oncoming path to give them time to get away. That means if you accidentally shoot it from too far away, they can get out in time, and you won’t get the kills you need to win the fight.
However, if you pair it with Groot’s Ult — which traps enemies in a small zone — you can easily get a team wipe with Iron Man’s Ultimate. It’s just up to you to make sure you shoot it quickly to hit the trapped enemies so you can get the kills.

Scarlet Witch And Doctor Strange
The trouble with using Scarlet Witch’s Ultimate is similar to Iron Man’s — the game gives enemy players a massive warning about where it’s coming from and where Scarlet Witch is, so they have time to get away from it. It’s one of the Ult’s you need to be very tactical with to get value out of, but if you play it right, it can be an absolute game winner. The other problem with it, too, is that Scarlet Witch is totally vulnerable while she is using it, so she can be killed before it has a chance to go off.
Bring in Doctor Strange, though, and both of these problems are solved. Not only will it give her time to charge it with little to no risk, but you’ll have a bunch of enemy players completely paralyzed and unable to escape from the massive damage that she releases.
He’s not the only one that combos well with her, either. If you don’t have a Doctor Strange on your team, you can also use the insane Scarlet Witch and Jeff the Land Shark Ultimate combo, which some Marvel Rivals players have been trying out recently.
