Why aren’t jujutsu sorcerers considered curse users even though they use cursed energy? Let’s dive into some Jujutsu Kaisen terminology!
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Third Season Could Be Its Best One
Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season adapted the Hidden Inventory and Shibuya Incident arcs, both of which were loved by the fans when they were serialized in the manga. MAPPA’s adaptation of the two arcs was phenomenal, and viewers were completely mesmerized by it. The second season had high-quality animation, and almost all the episodes received high ratings on IMDb.
Upon the conclusion of the second season, MAPPA announced that it was working on the Culling Game arc. The studio will work hard on the project because the Culling Game arc is one of the most hyped story arcs in Jujutsu Kaisen. If they get it wrong, it will leave a sour taste in the mouths of fans.
I Will Keep Killing Curses Till I Rust Away Because That Is My Role In This War. –Itadori Yuji
Jujutsu Kaisen’s upcoming season will see Itadori Yuji try to survive multiple assassination attempts. After Gojo Satoru was sealed, the higher-ups who were against Itadori Yuji being used as a potential weapon could finally revoke the decision. Almost all Jujutsu sorcerers are actively looking for Itadori Yuji, and they will not rest until he dies.
The hero is no slouch, and he should be able to handle most of them. However, there is one character in particular who will give him a lot of trouble, and that is none other than Yuta Okkutsu. Introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Yuta is a special-grade sorcerer who is capable of taking down the strongest cursed spirits with little to no difficulty. Itadori Yuji must avoid confrontation with him at all costs if he wants to live.
Fans will hope that the upcoming season of Jujutsu Kaisen does not include any main character deaths. In the Shibuya incident arc, they saw Kugisaki Nobara being killed by Mahito. The cursed spirit fooled her and used his power to end her life. Needless to say, Kugisaki’s death was shocking, and viewers couldn’t believe that Gege Akutami would kill a main character so easily.
Fans Are Split Over The Manga’s Conclusion
Manga Endings Are Always Polarizing
- Manga endings are decided by the authors
- Sometimes fans go too far to express their agitation
The manga’s conclusion left some fans dissatisfied, and they didn’t hesitate to express their frustration. This has become increasingly common with manga endings. Whenever a manga reaches its conclusion, there is bound to be some division among the readers. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, fans should remember to be polite.
They should not harass authors and attack them on social media websites. Recently, My Hero Academia fans were not impressed by Horikoshi’s attempt at expanding the manga’s conclusion. To show their displeasure, they started mass-blocking him.
There is no doubt that manga authors read some of these comments, and they will indubitably be affected by them. The artists work for hours on their manga and when they read profane things, it is bound to hurt them mentally. So, fans should be more cautious while voicing their criticism.
