Genshin Impact Chart Reveals Fastest Spiral Abyss Teams for Version 5.2

Genshin Impact Chart Reveals Fastest Spiral Abyss Teams for Version 5.2

Summary

  • A chart reveals the Fastest Spiral Abyss teams in Genshin Impact, giving a look at the current meta.
  • Mualani shines in speed runs; the Kinich-Emilie pair demonstrates potent synergy.
  • Chasca’s off-field role intrigues, hinting at future Genshin Impact strategic shifts.

A recent Genshin Impact chart has provided players with an overview of the fastest clears for both halves of the Spiral Abyss between October 16, 2024, and November 15, 2024. While Genshin Impact isn’t necessarily a competitive game by nature, the Spiral Abyss has been an avenue for players to attempt speed runs. Given the gacha format of Genshin Impact, the speed running community has a steep barrier of entry.

Despite this, many players find the results interesting, as not only do they give insight into the current state of the meta, but they also give unorthodox Genshin Impact teams their time to shine. Unlike a regular Spiral Abyss run, the speed running community mostly uses Genshin Impact characters with fully-completed Constellations and fully-refined Signature Weapons. Whereas Furina may be popular under normal circumstances, characters with quick animations such as Xilonen or Chiori are preferred for speed runs.

Genshin Impact Leaks Intriguing Spiral Abyss Buff

The latest beta build for Genshin Impact introduces a new Spiral Abyss buff that may be strongly hinting at a 5-star character’s rerun in Version 5.4.

The latest chart was made by tracer4b and shared with the Genshin Impact subreddit. It details the top five teams that were able to clear their half of the Spiral Abyss the fastest. The cycle covered by the chart started on October 16, 2024, and ended on November 15, 2024. It’s no secret that Mualani in Genshin Impact has topped the chart once again, as her ability kit lends itself well to speed running. Curiously, Ororon has completely replaced Fischl as an off-field Electro character, while Furina is absent from the chart. Since the Hydro Tulpa was present in the second half of the Spiral Abyss, Pyro characters such as Arlecchino, Klee, and Lyney excelled during this cycle.

Genshin Impact: Top 5 Fastest Spiral Abyss Teams

First Half

  • #1: Mualani, Chasca, Yanfei, Xilonen
  • #2: Chasca, Yanfei, Kokomi, Klee
  • #3: Neuvillette, Ororon, Chiori, Xilonen
  • #4: Arlecchino, Mualani, Chiori, Xilonen
  • #5: Clorinde, Ororon, Chiori, Xilonen

Second Half

  • #1: Mualani, Arlecchino, Klee, Xilonen
  • #2: Chasca, Charlotte, Bennett, Xilonen
  • #3: Arlecchino, Charlotte, Bennett, Xilonen
  • #4: Lyney, Bennett, Kazuha, Xilonen
  • #5: Kinich, Emilie, Bennett, Klee

Kinich in Genshin Impact continues to be present on these charts, showcasing the powerful synergy he has with Emilie. Even under normal circumstances, Emilie is one of Kinich’s best teammates, as her ability is designed to thrive in Burning teams. Other hypercarries that have synergy with Emilie are Wriothesley and Arlecchino. While the latter is expected to feature as a banner character in Version 5.3, Wriothesley continues to be absent from the Event Banners for an unusually long time.

Another notable peculiarity about this Spiral Abyss chart is the role of Chasca, the new Anemo character from Natlan. While her natural role is that of a hypercarry, she is entirely kept off-field on some of these teams, as her passive “Intent to Cover” is triggered whenever a Natlan character triggers a Nightsoul Burst. On the other hand, the Lyney team makes clever use of his Elemental Shred, coupled with Kazuha and Xilonen, to melt down the resistance of the Aeonblight Drake. With Mavuika in Genshin Impact expected to have high damage numbers when paired with Xilonen, the charts may end up looking quite different in January 2025. Version 5.3 is set to launch on January 1, 2025.
