A recent post on Fortnite‘s Twitter account suggests that the game could soon see a crossover with Skibidi Toilet, and many players are not happy about it. Skibidi Toilet is a web series that has gained a lot of popularity through shorts and YouTube videos. Supposedly, director Michael Bay is working on film and television adaptations to bring the property to more mainstream audiences. With so much popularity, some felt it was only a matter of time before Skibidi Toilet came to Fortnite in some fashion.

Since the launch of Chapter 6 Season 1, the developer has added Fortnite OG, Brick Life, and Ballistic modes in an effort to expand the many ways players can engage with the game. A recent post on Fortnite‘s official Twitter account features three emojis, which many players believe signify an upcoming crossover with Skibidi Toilet. Fans were quick to flood the comment section with gifs and images expressing disappointment with the potential collaboration. Prominent Fortnite content creator ThisIsITalk said, “this is the most embarrassed I’ve ever felt for Fortnite.” It remains to be seen what the collaboration will entail, but it’s likely players will see a new set of cosmetics in the game’s item shop. While many fans were recently excited to hear about potential Fortnite collaborations with Demon Slayer and Cyberpunk 2077, Skibidi Toilet seems to have missed the mark.
