According to Fortnite leaker @SpushFNBR, Epic Games’ hit battle royale will be crossing over with viral internet web series Skibidi Toilet tomorrow.
They allege that the bundle, priced at 2,800 V-Bucks, will include the following:
- Skibidi Plungerman – 1,500 V-Bucks (comes with a Lego style and Back Bling)
- Skibidi Toilet Back Bling – 600 V-Bucks
- Skibidi Plunger Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
A supposed announcement message will accompany the bundle tomorrow, reading, “In recent years, few things have taken over the internet as quickly as the Skibidi Toilet sensation, and after nearly 100 web episodes, the war between the namesake Skibidi Toilets and the Alliance is finally coming to Fortnite!”
Who Is The Plungerman?
Skibidi Toilet is made within Garry’s Mod, a sandbox built on Valve games like Half-Life and Counter-Strike, so it’s unlikely we’ll see familiar faces ripped right from the web series. It’s more likely that Fortnite will take the same approach with its Back Bling as the official toy line, which adapts the characters, but tweaks them enough to be original.
Plungerman, however, is a unique character designed for the show, making him the perfect pick for a crossover. He’s a member of the Cameramen faction, wielding two plungers (hence the name) to take down the Skibidi Toilets alongside The Speakermen and TV Men under The Alliance umbrella.
These humanoid figures are the series’ protagonists, fighting back against G-Toilet and his army, although they did team up with the Skibidi Toilets when fighting the Astro Toilets. So, what better way to show off that newfound friendship than by playing as the Plungerman with a Skibidi Toilet strapped to his back?
Starting life as a tower defense game, Fortnite has become one of the biggest video games out there. Its battle royale mode dominates popular culture, featuring concerts by megastar musicians and crossovers with just about every brand imaginable, from Marvel to the NFL.
