NPCs have become a major part of the game with recent Fortnite Chapters. They’ve handed out rare exotic weapons, transformed you into a prop, and even join you as a permanent teammate! The Fortnite character locations can be tricky to pin down though. They change all the time, sometimes even outside of the normal update schedule.
The new Chapter 6 map is pretty big, but it’s got a good number of NPCs spread around. Both the hostile bosses like Night Rose, but also friendly Fortnite NPC locations. Knowing all of the Fortnite Character locations can really expand your options.

The newer Chapters have taken things even further with NPCs. In more recent seasons, we’ve had specialists. These teammates are a lot more useful in games compared to the old hireable NPCs. They’ll actually heal you, ping enemies, and do a lot more to give you an advantage. These NPCs are going to make a much bigger difference in if you win a game or not. They can even be the key to getting Fortnite Mythics in some seasons.
Knowing where to find each of the character locations in Fortnite is vital. You can then easily find any resource you need, no matter where you have to rotate through. Knowing exactly where to find NPCs and what services they can offer can give you the edge. This is where you can track down all of them.
Fortnite Character Locations in Chapter 6
Fortnite Chapter 6 has brought back both NPCs, and hireable NPCs. There aren’t as many as previous chapters though. The hireables in particular have only just been fleshed back out. After being a bit quieter lately. These are the standard NPCs, where you can find them, and what they sell:

Hireable Fortnite Chapter 6 Characters Locations

Hireable NPCs are once again back for the current Chapter. This time there’s less of each type. However, they can provide a major boost. These are the hireable NPCs you’ll find in the map this season and where they are:
Supply Specialist
These guys drop supplies. Ammo, cover in Zero Builds, Materials, it’s pretty solid. Especially when they gave out bunkers. These are the supply specialists:
- Mizuki
Heavy Specialist
The Heavys are kind of the worst one. They lob grenades at opponents, that’s about it. Often, they destroy your cover much more than doing anything to the enemy. Still, an extra man is still helpful. These are the NPCs:
- Cinder
Recon Specialists
Recons are maybe the most useful type of NPC. They periodically send out a scan, which highlights any enemies anywhere near you. It’s wall hacks, happening regularly. These are the scanners that are available this season.
- Vi
Medical Specialists
Another pretty useful one, these heal. They’ll throw splashes regularly on your team. Which is great for increasing your survivability. Although, in Chapter 6, there’s only one right now. We might get one added in a future Fortnite update though.
- Helsie
That’s all of the Fortnite NPC locations in Chapter 6. It’s not an NPC-heavy season, but they still have real useful features. Getting the recon scan, an extra set of hands, or a healer, is one of the most useful things to get to win normal Battle Royale games. You could build your entire rotation circle around these.
