A player recently managed to capture a bizarre glitch while playing Marvel Rivals which swapped their chosen character with a completely different one. The glitch occurred while the player was checking out the Hela emote screen inside the menus of Marvel Rivals. However, Hela was nowhere to be seen, with her player model strangely being swapped with Captain America’s.

While looking at Hela’s character page in Marvel Rivals, Reddit user Bulky-Bid-8508 noticed the Asgardian of Death was missing, and in her place was none other than Steve Rogers himself, Captain America. The two character models seemingly got swapped somehow, but Hela’s emotes stayed, turning the traditionally stoic and rugged hero into a “fierce” new creation. The alternate skin for Captain America seen here is one of many in Marvel Rivals and really added to the moment, with Steve Rogers sporting a head of luscious blonde hair and exposed thighs.

It’s unclear what caused this glitch to occur, though it’s certainly one of the funniest fans have seen come out of Marvel Rivals since the game was released earlier in December. Other bizarre glitches have been found in Marvel Rivals, though the game is surprisingly quite free of bugs so far. There’s certainly a lot still to be ironed out within Marvel Rivals, though the free-to-play hero shooter seems to be on a promising path heading into the new year.
