Void Crew is a multiplayer roguelite where you and up to three other friends can take control of a spaceship and explore the depths of space. Each player takes control of a section of the ship, including piloting, gunning and repairs.

Each jump will make your ship travel a distance of five kilometers. Making a mini jump is done in the same was as making a regular long range jump. In order to use this mod, the pilot of the ship and the most of the game must have it installed.

Cancel Ability

Use Abilities Faster

The Cancel Ability mod, developed by VoidCrewModdingTeam, will allow you to cancel your abilities earlier than normal so that they can recharge faster. When an ability is canceled it will retain whatever level of charge it had. This speeds up gameplay, letting you react quicker to threats and objectives.

This applies to all abilities except for the grappling hook. Additionally, abilities can be used when still on cooldown. In order to be used, each player will have to individually download and install this mod. This will allow for abilities to be used more frequently, bypassing the wait normally required.

As opposed to many of the other quality of life mods for Void Crew, Thin Hull actually makes the game more challenging. Thin Hull, developed by VoidCrewModdingTeam, changes the way your ship is damaged so that air will leak from the interior when the hull is breached during combat.

The larger the breach the more quickly air will escape from it. Air will be drained from the room closest to the hole until the breach is repaired. As this happens the temperature will also drop. If you or your team are looking for a greater challenge, then this is the mod for you. Only the host of the game needs to install this mod in order to be used.

Chair View

View Exterior Of Ship

Chair View allows you to oversee the exterior of your ship with the press of a button. Developed by VoidCrewModdingTeam, Chair View enables anyone who is seated in a chair inside the ship to switch their view to an exterior view of the ship by pressing the Tab key.

Viewing your ship from this angle can allow you to more easily make tactical decisions during a battle, navigate, or view the customizations you have made to your ship. Each player in a group can install and use this mod individually.

Independent Brains

B.R.A.I.N. Turrets Fire Individually

B.R.A.I.N. turrets can be useful, but they also have limitations. Installing Independent Brains, developed by VoidCrewModdingTeam, will allow these autonomous turrets to individually aim at separate targets. This can greatly increase their effectiveness, allowing them to more easily track different enemies at once.

Once installed, B.R.A.I.N. turrets will automatically begin to target enemies. The pilot of the ship can also set a target lock to aim for specific foes. This small change greatly increases the use of this weapon type. When the host of a game installs this mod it will be available across the entire ship for all players.

Booster

Go Faster

To get around faster without needing to make void jumps, this is the mod to choose. Booster, developed by VoidCrewModdingTeam, allows you to activate multiple boosters at the same time. Each activated booster will be less effective than the last, but still allow you to make use of more boosters than normal.

These can be used for travel or to make evasive maneuvers during battle, and the more you have active the faster you’ll be able to make your ship go. In order to use this mod the pilot of the ship and the host of the game must both have it installed.

Like many games, Void Crew is best enjoyed with friends. Voider Crew, developed by Hobos_In_Space, increases the maximum amount of players that are able to join a lobby from the default number of four up to eight. Once installed, the number of players can can be selected from matchmaking terminals inside the game.
