Schedule, Where to Watch and Main Predictions

Summary

  • Jump Festa 2025 will feature news on popular Shonen Jump series from Dec 21-22 with 38 panels.
  • International viewers can expect streams on YouTube or a streaming service for the main panels.
  • Predictions include anime news about new seasons, release windows, and trailers, especially for popular series.

Jump Festa 2025 is right around the corner, and fans can expect a lot of news about the hottest Shonen Jump series, like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and many more. The event will take place from Dec 21-22, with 38 panels.

Jump Festa is an annual event organized by Shueisha (Shonen Jump‘s publishing house), focusing on all Jump imprint magazines (Shonen Jump, V-Jump, Jump SQ, Saikyo Jump, and the Shonen Jump+ service), and usually dropping major news for many titles. The first edition was held in 1999. There are four stages (the Red, Blue, Studio, and Shonen Jump+ 10th Anniversary stages), so a lot of content will be shown at the same time during the event. Not all presentations necessarily include important announcements/news, but they are expected, at least for most of the Red Stage and Blue Stage panels. The schedule is as follows (time in JST).

Where To Watch Jump Festa 2025

No international streams are confirmed so far, but at least studios have streamed content from series they are involved with. Japanese viewers will be able to watch the panels from the Super Red Stage on AbemaTV, for free (it’s region-locked).

In 2022 and 2023, Shueisha provided an English-subtitled stream on Shonen Jump’s official YouTube channel, so they might either do it again or partner with a streaming service (such as Crunchyroll) to provide the main stage panels for international fans. Checking their channel might not be a bad idea.

Studios and other production companies involved in these adaptations might also stream their content, so it’s good to keep an eye on Toho, Aniplex, Pony Canyon, and maybe MAPPA‘s official channels (even if they don’t stream the content, they also usually post trailers right after the panels).

Jump Festa 2025 Main Predictions

At the Blue and Red stage panels, we will probably get trailers and news regarding anime adaptations (new seasons, release dates, or windows for previously announced series, and so on). So Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach, Spy x Family, Rurouni Kenshin, Dragon Ball, Dandadan, Blue Box, Elusive Samurai, Kaiju No. 8, and Prince of Tennis might get new seasons or movie announcements. The Dragon Ball panel is also likely to pay homage to Akira Toriyama.

Chainsaw Man will probably drop news about the Reze movie, but might also get a new season announcement. My Hero Academia will likely drop a new trailer and release window for the final season, but might also announce a new movie. Gintama previously confirmed that news about the Ginpachi-sensei anime is coming, and a new compilation movie could also be coming.

Dr. Stone will likely preview the upcoming season, slated for January, as will Demon Slayer probably do with the Infinity Castle trilogy (this one might get a release window too, for now, it’s just slated for 2025). Undead Unluck will reveal something new, probably about the 1-hour special, and maybe a second season will be announced. Haikyu!! is likely to drop more info on the second and final movie, including a trailer and release date/window (if we’re lucky, they might also announce an extra series adapting the parts that were cut from the movies).

Witch Watch anime is scheduled for April 2025, so we might get a new trailer (likely) and release date (not so likely, but not impossible). Oshi no Ko might drop more information on season 3. Takopi’s Original Sin will likely reveal information about the anime adaptation. Akabe-banashi might get an anime adaptation announced. This series has been successful, especially with the Japanese public, so it will probably be adapted into anime at some point. Not necessarily now, though. World Trigger, Mission: Yozakura Family, Chained Soldier, and You and I are Polar Opposites might also have new seasons coming.

One Piece could make many big announcements. They will probably drop a trailer of the anime remake and maybe reveal a release window. It is already confirmed we will learn who is the new voice actor for Franky. There might be something new regarding the live-action (maybe a video message, but not necessarily a preview for the second season) or a new movie. Games are also usually revealed at the event, so there might be some news on that front as well.
