Recap on PARIVISION’s victory at ESL One Bangkok 2024

For the uninitiated, PARIVISION were formed in October 2024, two months ago. The Russian line-up of prodigies and seasoned veterans have their moments throughout many tournaments, but nobody really expected them to win a tournament, let alone the ESL One Bangkok 2024.

With pro players, such as Volodymyr “No[o]ne-” Minenko, Remco “Crystallis” Arets, Edgar “9Class” Naltakian and Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, PARIVISION is not an ordinary new team. However, perhaps what sets PARIVISION apart from its competition is the mastermind backing PARIVISION’s strategies and drafts, Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin.

Despite Dukalis’ young age, his role as hard support and captain has proven his worth in PARIVISION’s success.

Grand Finals between PARIVISION and Team Liquid

Reflecting on the grand finals in ESL One Bangkok 2024, if we have to name a MVP, it’s No[o]one-, period.

From Earth Spirit to Invoker and Sniper, No[o]one- has been at the top of his game every time. He made game-changing decisions and reactions to the opponents in such a way that it disrupted Liquid’s executions. For instance, when his Invoker used Deafening Blast to slow down the opponents or his Earth Spirit to isolate the enemy heroes during a fight.

Despite his age and fans claiming that he’s not in his prime anymore, No[o]one- is shocking everyone’s expectations on him. Meanwhile, the rest of PARIVISION also contributed to their victory at ESL One Bangkok 2024. Particularly, the drafts were on-point, even after Team Liquid decided to ban No[o]one-‘s signature Invoker. For the most part, each player played accordingly and did not fall too far back throughout each game.

However, PARIVISION is definitely still a relatively new Dota 2 team with young blood that make questionable mistakes. For instance, when Crystallis ignorantly decided to farm alone at a very low health, thinking there were no opponents. There are improvements and better decision-making that can be done, but this is a good start for PARIVISION to be among other staples in Dota 2 Esports, such as Team Falcons and BetBoom Team.

What’s next for PARIVISION?

Winning a ESL event is a pretty big deal for PARIVISION too, as they also won a lot of ESL Pro Tour (EPT) points on top of the $300K winnings. These well-earned points will contribute to their likelihood of qualifying for upcoming Dota 2 tournaments, including the coveted Riyadh Masters 2025.
