Oda Has Already Revealed The Identity Of The 10th Straw Hat

One Piece has finally entered its last saga, and this stretch of the story is going to be incredibly exciting, with a lot of major developments to come. As fans know, the final saga of One Piece is where the major battles are going to go down, and at the same time, fans will get to see the Straw Hat Pirates advance in regards to both their personal ambition, and getting closer to the One Piece as well.

When it comes to the Straw Hat Pirates, fans know that this family is now almost complete, as the vast majority of them are getting closer to accomplishing their own individual goals as well. However, there are likely still future members of the Straw Hat Pirates who are yet to officially join the crew. This part of the story is crucial for the completion of the crew as the last member is officially going to join. In fact, Oda might already have revealed who it is going to be.

The Straw Hat Pirates are, undoubtedly, the most important group in the One Piece world. The protagonist of the series, Luffy, is the leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, and under his command, the crew has gone on to achieve the impossible many times. Right now, Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are a yonko crew, considered to be one of the mightiest on the seas. While Luffy is undoubtedly the most impressive member of the pirate crew, fans know that there are other powerful and reliable individuals as well. Luffy always wanted to amass some of the most brilliant individuals for his pirate crew, and it is safe to say that he has successfully done that to quite an extent.

About 10 members should do it! – Luffy

While the members that Luffy has on board are already capable, the family is not complete just yet. For those who may not remember, Luffy wanted 10 pirates on his crew, and so far, he only has nine. This means that there is a possibility for one more member to join the crew, and fans have already gotten a few hints here and there from Oda, including some red herrings.

For instance, in the Wano Country Arc, it almost seemed as if Yamato was going to join the crew, but that did not come to pass. Of course, the door for Yamato to join the crew hasn’t fully shut down, But, it appears to be increasingly unlikely that Yamato will get to join again. The question of who is going to join the Straw Hat Pirates next still remains and while Oda has certainly cut down on quite a few possibilities, there are some others who are looking increasingly likely to be the final member of the crew. Undoubtedly, the one who has the best shot at joining the Straw Hat Pirates is none other than Vivi.

How Oda Has Already Hinted At The 10th Straw Hat

Vivi Is A Former Member Of The Crew With Nowhere To Go

Oda has already hinted at the 10th Straw Hat and based on the clues left behind by him, the 10th Straw Hat Straw Hat is none other than Vivi. There are multiple reasons as to why Vivi is going to be the last Straw Hat. For one, Vivi was already a member of the crew before the timeskip and Oda himself established the fact that she would go on to rejoin the crew at some point later down the line. As such, there is already grounds for Vivi to rejoin the Straw Hat Pirates. But, more importantly, Vivi is away from home at the moment, and she cannot go back to Arabasta, because Imu and the World Government are on her tail. As such, there is no safe haven for her, which means that she has to seek one or create one by herself. Obviously, the latter is impossible for her, which means that she will have to seek out Luffy and eventually rejoin the Strawhat Pirates.

More recently, in the Elbaf Arc of One Piece, Oda had Vivi send a message to Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. This message came through a cross signed on Luffy’s arm, which, as fans know, is a coded message indicating to the Straw Hat Pirates that she is alive and well, and that she is still thinking of them. This also implies that Vivi intends to rejoin the Straw Hat Pirates and then continue exploring the mysteries of the world and solving the issue at hand with them.

Most importantly, fans know that King Cobra had a message for Vivi through Sabo. According to Cobra, the message that Vivi needed to know was that she too is a member of the D family and that they are to bear the flag of revolution. Clearly, Vivi being a member of the D family is irrelevant if she doesn’t go on to join the Straw Hat Pirates. Without Luffy, she cannot survive long, and if she isn’t a part of the crew, then, she most certainly will not go on to find out anything about the history of the D. All hints line up towards Vivi being the 10th Straw Hat, and at this point, it can essentially be considered inevitable.

Vivi Will Uncover The Secrets Of The World

It is unclear as to when Vivi will rejoin the Straw Hat Pirates. As things stand, Vivi is still with Wapol and Morgans. But, the fact that she recently sent a message to Luffy implies that they are going to meet up soon. It is entirely possible that Vivi and Luffy end up meeting in the Elbaf Arc, provided Morgans ends up taking a detour for her, for some reason. But, if they don’t meet up in this arc, then, it is highly likely that the next arc following Elbaf is where Luffy and Vivi will finally reunite. It will be incredibly exciting to see the crew get back together, and finally, the Straw Hat Pirates will be complete.

From there onwards, the mission is going to be to get to the last Road Poneglyph, and as soon as that is done, the entire crew can set sail to Laugh Tale and find out the true history of the world, the purpose of the ancient weapons, and the true meaning of the D, along with much else. The future looks incredibly exciting for Vivi and the Straw Hat Pirates, and hopefully, they can go on to accomplish great things together. All fans need to do is be patient and wait for the Straw Hat Pirates to get their last member and then uncover the massive mysteries of the world.
