Metaphor: ReFantazio‘s last section of the game is a boss gauntlet that will push your party to the limits in order to win. At the top of the Tyrant’s Star, the first boss in this gauntlet you’ll face is Archdemon Louis Charadrius.
While this is the beginning of multiple boss fights, your HP and MP will be restored before each battle, so hold nothing back in this fight. Here is how to beat Archdemon Louis Charadrius, along with how to properly prepare for this fight.

All Recipes In Metaphor: ReFantazio (King Of Cuisine Achievement)
There are 21 recipes in total in Metaphor: ReFantazio; here’s how to cook them all and get the King Of Cuisine achievement.
- Protagonist – Prince
- Eupha – Royal Summoner
- Junah – Royal Masked Dancer
- Basilio – Royal Berserker
While other parties can also be used, this is by far the best end-game party and should be used in all of the fights in the final gauntlet. If you have a Utilitarian’s Manual, put it on the Protagonist to take advantage of Royal Sword for only one press turn icon. Through Skill Inheritance, transfer over a party-wide healing spell onto Junah, preferably the strongest one. Other than those additions, you’ll ideally want each Archetype maxed out at this point as this is the end of the game and those final skills will be very handy in this fight.

Archdemon Louis Charadrius has no weaknesses, resistances, or immunities.
Without any weaknesses to take advantage of, you’ll have to make your own. Have Junah use Hellfire Dance to give Louis a weakness to fire, followed up by Eupha using Summon Dragon God (Modified) to hit the weakness and also debuff his attack and defense. Basilio has a few more options between using Peerless War Cry to then fully debuff Louis’ attack and defense or using Wanton Destruction to give Louis another one-time weakness.
The Protagonist should use Royal Sword just about every turn, and he should be your main damage dealer. Should things ever look bad or you’re setting up a final round of attacks, use Hero’s Cry but only when finally needed. Louis has a range of attacks to pull from, but his most used one will be Quadwing Pierce, which will hit the entire party multiple times with a Pierce attack, so be sure to buff your defense from time to time with whatever means you have.
As long as you keep debuffing him, Louis will spend one of his Press Turn icons removing all active debuffs on him. While this does undo your work, it will also use up some of his turn, and debuffs from Eupha will happen every turn with the above turn order. Louis will also have a move where the wings are put in front of his body and he charges up Magla for a turn, with Gallica stopping to point it out to you. When you see this, focus purely on dealing damage to interrupt him, as letting the attack go through will probably wipe your party even if guarding while buffed.
