Less than a year after its launch, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League‘s developers have admitted defeat, revealing that its episode eight update in January 2025 will be its last. That announcement has resulted in some deep discounts on Kill The Justice League including one that cuts the price of the $70 game all the way down to less than $3.
Even before the final season and offline mode announcements, Kill The Justice League’s deluxe edition was available for $4.99. GameBillet has attempted to go one better than that by cutting Kill The Justice League’s price to just $2.96. An additional $2 off that previous, almost unbelievably low offer, the caveat being this is the standard edition instead of the deluxe one. If you’ve waited this long to play it, and for it to be this cheap, I get the feeling you probably don’t care what edition you’re getting.

That means you can wait to see if someone has been kind enough to buy you Rocksteady‘s Arkham trilogy follow-up for Christmas before parting with $2.96 of your hard-earned money.

Kill The Justice League launched back in February of this year and suffice to say, it hasn’t been the hit Rocksteady envisioned it might be. Its seasonal content will come to an end long before it was likely planned to next month. On the bright side, confirmation that its regular updates will come to an end was coupled with an announcement that the game now has an offline mode. Before December 10, Kill The Justice League needed an internet connection to function, even when playing its campaign.
Just to be clear, even after Suicide Squad’s updates come to an end, the game will remain playable. Its campaign, all of the content that has been added post-launch, you’ll even still be able to play online co-op. All that’s changed is there won’t be new content beyond January, and you can now play the game offline.
An open-world action-adventure from Arkham creators Rocksteady, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts you in the roles of the antihero squad. You must take on the aforementioned Justice League, either in solo play or online co-op.
Black Friday is often considered the best time of year to get games for less, but the weeks that have followed it leading into Christmas have been even better this year. Not just because you can get a $70 game that’s less than a year old for $3, but also due to Epic’s annual gaming giveaway and some heavy discounts on games featured in Secret Level at Amazon.
