Marvel Rivals is quite a generous game. Not only are all future heroes confirmed to be free, but every battle pass can be enjoyed permanently as long as you’ve purchased them. You’ll mostly be tempted to put your money toward skins, but there are many you can acquire for free.

Unlocking all skins might take a bit of time. Half of them will require you to grind through some challenges while the other half are more varied in their restrictions. If you’re like me and want to get as much free stuff as possible, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we’re listing every free skin in Marvel Rivals and how to get them.
How To Unlock Free Skins In Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals launched with eight free skins to collect. Two of them are tied to a specific platform, so we’ll first talk about the six everyone can get. Here is how to unlock free skins no matter what you’re playing on:
- Storm – Ivory Breeze: Obtain 200 Achievement Points in the Heroic Journey challenges.
- Star-Lord – Jovial Star: Obtain 400 Achievement Points in the Heroic Journey challenges.
- Hela – Empress of the Cosmos: Season 0 Battle Pass for 400 Chrono Tokens.
- Moon Knight – Golden Moonlight: Reach the Gold rank in Competitive Play.
- Iron Man – Armor Model 42: Redeem the following code without the quotation marks “nwarh4k3xqy”.
- Magneto – Will of Galacta: Available as a Twitch Drop after watching four hours.
How To Unlock Special Marvel Rivals Skins On PlayStation
In addition to those mentioned above, PlayStation players can also unlock some bonus skins for free. First up is a snazzy-looking Scarlet Spider skin for Spider-Man that’s exclusive to the PS5 platform. And unfortunately, while crossplay works well in the gamenice and all, the game presently lacks cross-progressionUntil we hear more news about that potential feature, only those playing with a PSN account can swing around with this.
Players with PS Plus can also grab the Marvel Rivals – S0 Bundle, which features the following items:
- Peni Parker Ven#m Skin
- Peni Parker Ven#m MVP Animation
- Peni Parker Ven#m Spray
- Peni Parker Ven#m Nameplate
- 300 Chrono Tokens
Most people will look at this and assume it’s the same as the Peni Parker Ven#m Bundle that’s available in the in-game store for 1600 Units. However, there is a very small difference between the two. The one available in the store has the Lost Control emote instead of 300 Chrono Tokens. Don’t let that stop you from getting this free set of stuff though! I can confirm that after getting all of the above for free, the in-game bundle was discounted since I owned everything except for the emote.
Aside from the Hela skin in the battle pass, there is no telling how many of these skins will remain once Season 0 finishes up. There are already some cool Scarlet Witch and Venom skins that could only be obtained by those leveled up far enough during the closed alpha and beta tests. I recommend brushing up on your team-up attacks and completing challenges when you can.
