My Hero Academia: Horikoshi Just Confirmed The Fate Of Toya Todoroki
Toya Todoroki’s unfortunate fate has been revealed in MHA’s epilogue. Here’s what happened to him.
From a very young age, Bakugo wanted to be like All Might, the Greatest Hero and the Symbol of Peace. Bakugo continued his pursuit of greatness, wanting to be like All Might, and his incredibly powerful Quirk, coupled with his brilliant mind, saw to it that he became one of the strongest Heroes. By the end of the series, Bakugo is clearly one of the mightiest characters in My Hero Academia, and by adulthood, he is likely to have become even stronger, potentially going on to surpass even All Might.
Adult Bakugo’s Full Power Is Unprecedented
Bakugo Is Far Above His Final War Power Level
Fans recently got a look at My Hero Academia characters as adults in chapter 431. By this time, all the Heroes seem to have grown quite a bit and established themselves as the cornerstone of the Hero society. Bakugo himself is one of the most impressive Heroes, even though his rank certainly doesn’t seem to reflect that. Bakugo was revealed to have debuted in the Hero rankings at number 4, but, with time, he continuously dropped down the rankings.
It seems Bakugo has dropped down the ranks even further! – Aizawa
Right now, Bakugo finds himself at the 15th spot, which is quite a shame. But, this ranking is not reflective of his strength at all. Bakugo’s low ranking is down to his short temper and aggressive nature. Despite that, Bakugo always means well and would go out of his way to save those in need. Bakugo has grown tremendously over the years. At one point, he only prioritized victory, and saving people was second to him. However, now, Bakugo values both of these things equally, which is why ranking as Number One isn’t important to him anymore.
With that out of the way, fans can talk about how strong is right now. At the end of My Hero Academia, fans saw Bakugo go all out in a battle against All For One, and he certainly surprised everyone. Bakugo’s incredible intellect was put on display here, and at the same time, his strength following the Reawakening of his Quirk as well. Following Awakening, Bakugo was able to go all out and match even the likes of All For One in battle, which was truly staggering. But, what was even more staggering was the fact that Bakugo was able to do this while being in a severely weakened state. Bakugo clearly stated that he felt pain in every single cell in his body, and that he was already at death’s door before. This version of Bakugo was far from his best, and yet he was able to do something as incredible as beating All For One. Over the years, Bakugo is likely to have gained more control over his Quirk, and become even stronger.
Can Adult Bakugo Surpass All Might?
Bakugo Surpassing Kamino All Might Is A Guarantee
The question of whether Bakugo can go on to surpass All Might is quite an interesting one and the answer to that question is resounding yes. Of course, it can be said that All Might All Might is almost mythical in the My Hero Academia world. In his prime, he was almost unstoppable, and even the version that fans got to see in the first season of the series was quite powerful. His performance against the Nomu, and later on, against All For One in Kamino was absolutely impeccable. But, this version of All Might was certainly not the strongest and could easily be surpassed by the likes of Izuku and Bakugo.
In fact, by adulthood, Bakugo has taken his Quirk to the next level and his explosive power, combined with his brilliant mind, should be enough to see him reach a level where he can fight against All Might and potentially even surpass him.
Why did I have to be the one who ended All Might? – Bakugo
Of course, prime All Might is a different question altogether and it is highly likely that Bakugo will not go on to surpass this level, but, he would still come very close. But, another case can be made for Bakugo getting even stronger and potentially coming close to the levels of prime All Might. After all, quirks are getting stronger with each generation, and as is the Hero Society, in general.

My Hero Academia Fans Are Furious With Adult Deku’s Portrayal
Deku’s portrayal at the end of MHA has upset many fans. Here’s what Togashi did with his character and why.
Furthermore, Quirks are not the only things that are evolving with time. Science is evolving as well and this is something that was stated quite clearly to the fans in My Hero Academia chapter 430. As pointed out by All Might himself, science has evolved drastically over the years, and the level at which it is can see even a Quirkless man, such as Deku, compete with the likes of Bakugo, and others at the very highest level.
Why Science Might Help Give Bakugo The Push
With The New Hero Equipment, Bakugo Can Surpass All Might
Hero equipment has always been a part of Bakugo’s fighting style. It is no surprise to know that Bakugo makes use of Hero Equipments even as an adult. But, given that he has not been seen clearly in action, exactly he utilizes them now remains unknown. Regardless, the fact is that science has come a long way in the past 8 years, and right now, whatever power Bakugo wields is likely amplified further by his Hero Equipment. It is because of this advancement in science that Bakugo could have gotten a massive push in power. Bakugo could easily be pushed beyond the levels of the All Might that fans saw in the early parts of the series, and close to the prime levels of this heroic figure. Naturally, Bakugo’s ranking is not a clear reflection of this, but, with fans saw from him in the Final War Saga was certainly very impressive and if that is amplified many times over, fans can then see him reach a very high level similar to the Symbol of Peace.
If My Hero Academia ever gets a continuation in the form of a movie, a one-shot, or a mini-series, fans can only hope that they get a glimpse of how strong Bakugo is as an adult and what powers he truly wields. It will also be interesting to compare him to Heroes such as Prime All Might, and see if he can actually go beyond that level or not. For now, fans simply have to wait because there is no My Hero Academia sequel planned, at least for now. All fans know is that Horikoshi is planning a new series, and more information about it will eventually be revealed to the fans, possibly even on Jump Festa.
