Supercell’s Brawl Stars has announced its esports roadmap for the 2025 competitive year. The Brawl Stars Championship 2025 will introduce several new things, a major revamp for the esports division. New regions, a higher prize pool, and news systems will be added to the format of this year-long event.
Brawl Stars Esports Roadmap 2025
The Brawl Stars championship takes place throughout the year in several regions to choose the contenders for the World Finals at the end of each year. In 2025, the game will arrange the seventh installment of the championship series.
There will be monthly qualifiers in all the regions of Brawl Stars esports. Teams will collect Brawl Points and after the end of 2025, the top teams from each regional qualifier will join the biggest esports event of the game, the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025.
As the game is bringing some changes, I will update this space with the qualifier dates later on, when they’re announced. The Monthly events run for 5-6 months, depending on the strategy the game wants to implement.
List of Changes coming to Brawl Stars Esports from next year
The game is bringing some major changes ahead of the next season, and said more will come later. Here are the changes in Brawl Stars Esports Roadmap in 2025:
No more B Stream, event rewards for watching MF
The World Championship series will no longer have any secondary stream in B channels. The game has decided to ease the viewing experience for the spectators and so it announced the Monthly Finals will be live-streamed on one broadcast.
Besides, there will be event rewards for players who watch the streams on the official Brawl Stars event site. There will be rewards for watching the matches. And, players will be able to claim these rewards even after the matches are over. They can go to the event page anytime to watch the matches and be rewarded.
New Sub-Regions for the Asia Pacific
Brawl Stars has five super-regions for the championship. These regions are divided into sub-regions. The game is bringing some changes to the Asia Pacific region. APAC has four sub-regions and the Monthly Finals used to take place in Hong Kong server.
But now, the game will add a Tokyo server for East Asia, a Singapore server for Southeast Asia, and Mumbai Server for South Asia. Brawl Stars hasn’t said anything about the Oceania sub-region which is currently under the APAC super-region. But the game did provide a hint on region change and Oceania, maybe, will be the sole server. It’s not decided yet.
USD 2 million for the 2025 esports year
There isn’t much change in this yet the game did a poster announcement on the prize pool update. It said that there will be a total of $2 million prize pool for all the events in 2025. So, following the general system of Brawl Stars, the World Finals will feature a million dollars as the prize pool and the rest will be allocated to different regions for their own events.
Competition Improvements
Other improvements are coming in the competition in 2025. The monthly finals will take place in an improved MQ format, details are not known yet. There will be double points for the teams in the Second Split. Besides, the title decided not to continue random seeding. There will be a new system named Ranked Tie-In. The game will release more details on this in the future. Moreover, the overall structure will be changed so that we get a year-packed schedule in our calendar.
As the game is coming with these changes in esports, we’re sure it will boost the player experience and also provide some great events throughout the year.
