What are the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6? We’ve departed for a brand-new island. A whole world inspired by Japan, with demons, different biomes, and secrets. It’s always tricky figuring out where to drop on a brand-new map though.
If you haven’t quite found your drop spot to win Fortnite games yet, these are the highlights. The best places to drop on the map for a different kind of start in Chapter 6.
The Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 6
Nightshift Forrest
The Forrest is one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6, but it requires quite a bit of work! For this spot, there’s a large central building with some good loot spread around. That includes a guaranteed spawn to get a Typhoon Blade in Fortnite. However, it’s also home to a vault.
This vault is a bit unique. To get inside, you need to bring a sprite to the Bushranger NPC location. However, he spawns at one of three spots. Some players have systems for checking them all quickly, but it is difficult to ensure you get it each game. If you do manage to land the key, the vault has fantastic loot. There are not many locations like this in Chapter 6 Season 1, so it’s worth a visit.
Seaport City
Seaport City is Chapter 6’s answer to the large city POI. Like Tilted, Mega City, or Lazy Lake. It’s a sprawling complex with tons of loot. There’s a lot of loot here to collect. Loads of chest spawns, and plenty of opportunities for higher-quality rare chests too. There’s also the train that swings by, which can give you one of the Chapter 6 Mythics. Plus, enough car spawns to get around easily after looting.
Demon’s Dojo
Demons might be the best Fortnite Chapter 6 landing spot, especially if you want a medallion and mythic. It’s the only medallion spot on the map right now at the beginning of games. Players won’t find the most loot here. There’s a Typhoon Blade spawn, and two elemental chests. However, it is a bit rough.
The boss fight here is a little tougher too. At least compared to what we’re used to. There are a few tricks with it if you want to make sure you take the boss out though. If you can do that, you’ll get not only a medallion, but two of the best mythics. The strongest Fortnite Chapter 6 weapon and a 50-charge Oni-mask.
Magic Mosses Secret Tunnel
This is a bit of a different one. It isn’t one of the best Fortnite landing spots for raw chest spawns or unique loot. However, it does feature a unique secret, a mini vault hidden behind some rocks. To find this, you’ll need to do this:
- Head to the center of the POI
- Break the wooden floor
- Land in the water
- Head to the turtle statues
- Equip a sprite in your hands
- Walk up to the wall, it should slide open
Once inside you’ll find quite a few higher quality loot containers. It should be enough to kit out a squad or the game. Expect a bit of competition though, everyone knows about the secret now.
Hopeful Heights
Hopeful Heights largely bares an inclusion on the best Fortnite Chapter 6 landing spots because of how unremarkable it is. It’s a quiet landing.
In most games, you’ll only be slightly contested here. It isn’t a major landing spot with anything flashy to show for it. If you want a quieter start then it’s a great place to go to. It also has two NPCs which have some decent services. Along with car spawns, which can mean you can rotate over to hire an NPC pretty quickly too.
Those are the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6. As the season develops and loot changes though, we’ll definitely see alterations to this. We’ll probably see more spawns rise or fall in importance as the loot pool is changed around. Especially as we head into Winterfest and see what future crossovers happen.
