Based on the screenshot, it was not hard to understand the comparison. Specifically, the opening in the cave that MegalocerusGiganteus was looking at appeared as an eye with a pupil in the middle. Out from that, the coloring of the surrounding blocks appeared to be part of a nose and a cheek. According to the player, this strange formation occurred thanks to Minecraft‘s world generation and was not manipulated by them while exploring.
Minecraft Player Finds Cave Formation That Looks Like a Face
Since posting the clip on Reddit, many on the game’s subreddit have concurred with MegalocerusGiganteus, saying the cave formation looked like a face. In addition, some pointed out that the lighting from the torches helped the effect. Interestingly, the player claimed the torch placement was also an accident, adding to the bizarre coincidence. So far, the post has garnered more than 10K upvotes on the platform, with many wanting to check it out for themselves. Fortunately, the player shared the seed in the comments, and the coordinates are visible in the shared screenshot.
Despite being an unusual discovery, this is far from the only bizarre terrain formation players have found naturally occurring in the game. For example, another player recently found a mountain they believed bore a shocking resemblance to Gru from the Despicable Me franchise. In that case, the terrain appeared to form the outline of the character, featuring a rounded back and a beak-like nose.
