Zenless Zone Zero players will be receiving a significant quantity of free Polychromes in the near future to celebrate the game’s multiple nominations at The Game Awards. Much like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail before it, the urban action RPG from HoYoverse took the gaming world by storm following its long-awaited release earlier this year. The game would amass a staggering 50 million players within just 48 hours of its July launch, continuing to maintain impressive numbers in the following months. Now, Zenless Zone Zero nearly captured a pair of major awards.

2024’s annual Game Awards broadcast featured multiple appearances from HoYoverse’s newest action RPG, with Zenless Zone Zero receiving multiple nominations. Zenless Zone Zero claimed a pair of nominations ahead of the awards show, standing as a finalist for both “Best Mobile Game” and the “Player’s Voice” awards. Zenless Zone Zero would ultimately end up falling short in both categories, with Balatro winning Best Mobile Game and Black Myth: Wukong capturing the Player’s Voice title. However, fans of the HoYoverse RPG are still set to receive rewards in the near future.

Zenless Zone Zero Confirms Version 1.4 A-Rank Banner Characters

Zenless Zone Zero has revealed the A-Rank characters set to appear on the limited gacha banners during the RPG’s upcoming Version 1.4 update.

Zenless Zone Zero officially announced its newest rewards campaign on Friday evening through the game’s official social media accounts. HoYoverse revealed that, as thanks for the nominations, Zenless Zone Zero players will be eligible to receive 800 free Polychromes starting with Version 1.4’s release on December 18. The rewards will be open to all Zenless Zone Zero fans and can be redeemed through Zenless Zone Zero‘s in-game mail system through the end of Version 1.4 on January 25. Players will need to act fast, however, with the mail expiring after 30 days after being received by the player.


Zenless Zone Zero is Giving Fans Free Polychromes


Zenless Zone Zero‘s multiple nominations weren’t the only thing to come from the game during the broadcast, with a major reveal also being featured. HoYoverse aired a special new trailer for Version 1.4 during The Game Awards, similar to its new showcases during past awards shows. The newest Zenless Zone Zero trailer included the first official depiction of heavily rumored new character Astra Yao, introducing her as an in-universe singer. Astra Yao has been the subject of multiple leaks from the game, suggesting she will become a playable character in the near future.

With a plethora of free Polychromes on the way, Zenless Zone Zero fans have even more free goodies to look forward to during Version 1.4. HoYoverse previously revealed that players will receive a free copy of new character Asaba Harumasa during Version 1.4, one of the update’s featured S-Rank characters. Version 1.4 will also welcome the release of one of Zenless Zone Zero‘s most highly-anticipated characters, with Hollow Special Operations Section 6’s chief Hoshimi Miyabi becoming playable. Zenless Zone Zero fans look to have plenty in store coming with the RPG’s next update.
