Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Celebrating 250 Million Downloads
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel‘s newest milestone comes as part of a banner year for the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise as a whole. Konami set a pair of Guinness World Records in April with the game’s “Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series” tournament set in Tokyo, with more than 7,400 players attending the tournament. The massive competition set new records for the most entrants in a TCG tournament, as well as the most players competing against one another in the same venue. A major update at the end of October brought a plethora of quality-of-life updates to Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, introducing helpful changes to card crafting and deck-building. The game’s cardpool also looks to have plenty of big additions on the way, with the powerful “Fiendsmith” archetype and the “Azamina” cards set to change the game’s meta. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel‘s future continues to look bright with fans still coming out in droves and Konami continuing to improve the game.
